A funeral was being held for the loss of Empress Dream, Max wore a unique blue uniform, studded with stars. His daughter, Vixen held tears in her mismatched eyes. Max didn't cry but he looked determined and distressed and held a single purple rose in his large hand.

Every creature in Catopia didn't know how to feel, they knew Max was a kind soul and would most likely be a better leader than Dream and they'd be freed from her dictatorship but they were also confused as to how Dream died, as far as the Catopians knew Dream was immortal and could never die by normal means, rumors spread out, some saying a god took away her life for her cruelty others saying karma came up to her and kicked her in the butt and made her brain dead, leading to Max mercy killing her. Only Max himself knew what happened, Dream had lived her live in her original body for millennia and her soul had finally left that body in search of a new, stronger one. Max could search for generations and generations but he'd never find his wife, albeit abusive she was, he couldn't live without her. Some called that fact inspiring, others said Max had Stockholm syndrome.

As Dream's grand coffin sunk people cried, some out of happiness others out of sorrow. Max threw the rose onto her coffin, Catopians noticed the shiny golden ring wrapped around the stem of the vibrant rose.

Dreams Tombstone was ginormous, it was a statue of her in her very first form, her curly white hair and long beautiful dress. Various jewelry from Catopians dangled from the stone statue. It was decorated in various rare jewels from the Crystal mines. The statue was very symbolic, although it held a representation of her first, kind, fragile form it was strong and stiff like the personality she wore when she passed. The jewelry shining on her stone body was like her royalty, ultimately being the main attraction.

Max's grey-blue eye closed and he walked over to a microphone Infront of Dreams grave and cleared his throat "U-Um... Greetings Catopians, I'm sure you are wondering as to how my wife died, her soul left her body in search of a new one...I will be your new leader and princess Vixen will most likely take after me once I inevitably pass. We will all miss her in one way or another. I know I must move on and it's what she would have wanted." Max spoke sadly, Vixen looked to the ground and then at her mother's casket and wept harder.

The funeral soon ended and maost of the Catopians went home, a girl with short, pink to blonde hair and reddish brown eyes held a thin box in her pale hands, she reluctantly slumped over to Max and handed him the box, his lonely pale eyes glanced at the box, it was wrapped nicely in dark purple wrapping paper with a white bow. He lightly touched the bow with his frail hands "is this for me?" Max asked, pulling his hand back reluctantly, the small girl nodded and pushed it towards him.

"I made it myself...I hope it's comfortable" the girl smiled, Max grinned at her solemnly and began to gently open the box, inside was light blue denim pants and a dark purple sweater with three light grey sideways triangles on the right side of the body, a dark magenta bandana scarf came along with it too. Max smiled and hugged the girl then let go.

"Thank you miss" max thanked and nodded, the girl smiled and bowed.

"You're welcome Emperor Max!" She smiled "may light shine on your path" she said standing up.

"Please, call me Max" Max smiled lightly and sighed "I hope we meet again." He smiled. The girl nodded "oh um who are you?" Max asked, the girl smiled.

"Reiner" she said flatly with a smile, max nodded, Reiner turned around and started to walk off, her large, clunky sneakers hit the ground and left a small slap, her black sweatshirt fluttered in the ocean breeze.

Max frowned again and looked over at Vixen, she was crying and cuddling up to the statue of her mother. He walked over to her and comforted her, Vixen had Dream's coat on and snuggled into the fluff of it. "Dad...I love you." She weeped.

"I love you too honey." He said solemnly.
