Afreen POV :

Patient is out of danger. The doctor said to us which made us relieved and thankful.But the very next moment he dropped the bomb "We couldn't save him from going into coma due to impact of the accident. It may take days, weeks, months or years for him to recover. You all have to stay strong"

"Doctor can we meet him?" I asked.

Ofcourse but only one person at a time. He cannot see you but he can hear you so make sure you stay positive and try not to cry.

"Ammi(mom) please don't cry infront of baba(dad) it will make his health worsen up."Bhai said.

"Ok will try my best and please ammi smile I can't see you like this. Even Afreen can't see you like this she may not say it but her eyes says it all. Ammi you will have to be strong we need you."

Now go and meet baba. After seeing Ali's condition it made my heart break into pieces.

"No words were there which could describe my feeling just stood there watching him and a lone tear escaped....And I decided that leaving the room will be a better option for now so I could stop myself from any damage on Ali's health."

I went out of the ICU room and made my towards the kids with a strong heart and a small smile on my face.

"Ammi you are ok?" I asked to which ammi replied with a small smile on her face "Ofcourse I am "

You should go and rest mera baacha same goes to you Saba jao ghar ja ke aram karlo. But ammi... baba I am here with your baba and kareem too. Now go.

"Afreen you go I am coming just give me a minute. Take your time I am will be waiting here Saba. Thanks meri jaan."

Saba POV:

I made my way to Aunty Shiza and engulfed her in a warm hug which she accepted warmly.

Aunty I have called abbu and ammi they are on the way. Uncle will recover soon Inshallah.

Ameen aunty replied.

Aunty now I have to go Afreen is waiting for me. Allah Hafiz

Saba take care of yourself and Afreen's too.

Ji aunty(yes auntie)don't worry she is my responsibility you just take care of yourself you look so weak you need rest.

No I am fine beta. Now go you are already late.

Translation: beta means son it can be used for both male and female ; endearment

Afreen POV:

As soon as we entered I ended my feeling sad again to which Saba consoled me.

Days passed by but no improvements in baba's health. But we didn't lose hope.

Two months later:

We were having our breakfast in complete silence when Bhai decided to confess us something which made us curious.

Bhai: I got a job

Ammi: That's good.

Bhai: Par ammi ek problem hai it's not in India I have to leave for U.S.A for this job only if you are fine with it.

Translation: But mom there is a problem the job is not in India. I have to leave for USA for this job only if you are fine with it

That made me and ammi sad but we soon covered it up with a smile.
