Annoying

"You... really are... annoying..."

The pinkette's eyes widen as his clone rushes towards her, and with one quick thrust her chest is impaled. Sticky, red liquid flows from the gash.

"Sasuke, what is the meaning of this?!" The silver-haired jounin asks, turning towards his ex-student with surprise in his eyes.

"Hn." As if in a daze, he pulls the blade from her stomach and the pinkette slowly falls to the ground. However, warm hands are there to catch her. Standing over her, teeth bared and eyes blazing with anger and fury, Uzumaki Naruto glares at his ex-teammate.

"Teme...! Why, you-!" The blonde gently lowers his teammate to the ground and immediately launches himself at the raven. "You'll pay for this!"

Haruno Sakura lies motionless on the ground, staring wide-eyed at her ex-teammate as blood pools around her. Her chakra reserves are dangerously low so there is no possible way she can heal herself.

Why...

Why...

Why would Sasuke-kun do this to me?

Trembling, the pinkette struggles to wipe the tears from her eyes as her two teammates fight; one to preserve the world, the other to destroy. She watches... watches... as the two throw punch after punch, attack after attack at each other.

I... always watch. I'm weak. I'm going to die to the hands of my old teammate, the one I love. How pathetic.

Sakura Haruno, the girl that tried to find love but died trying.

NO!

Waves of newfound adrenaline course through her body, and the pinkette slowly sits up.

"Sakura. A medic is on the way. Save your strength." Kakashi says, acknowledging her condition.

However, the pinkette does not heed his word. She puts both hands behind her, and in one swift movement, jumps to her feet. Her messy pink hair covers her eyes, which look down, fury written in them.

"Kakashi-sensei." A whisper. "I can do this... I'm not... I'm NOT WEAK!" She yells, looking up. Her short pink hair bounces around as her eyes hold a sharp, calculating glare. She wipes the blood from her mouth and uses what little chakra reserves she has to shut the wound. Satisfied, the pinkette runs straight to where her two teammates fight. As Sasuke is about to land a hit on Naruto, the pinkette grabs his wrist, twists it, then kicks him in the gut. He stumbles to the ground and she sits on top of him, using pure strength to punch him across the face repeatedly. The raven takes the hits.

"Fight-" punch- "back-" another punch- "you little-" a super hard punch- "BITCH!"

"Sakura-chan, stop it." Her teammate says, gently touching her shoulder for comfort.

"Stop it? STOP IT?! This man has ruined everything! And what do I do?! I STILL follow him! GODAMMIT!!!" The pinkette roars.

"Sakura, calm down-"

"DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO!" The pinkette yells, then collapses against the raven's chest. She slams her hand against it a few times. "I just... you'll never understand how hard it hurts. It feels as if-" As if on cue, the pinkette's eyes widen in surprise as pain builds up in her chest. She rolls off Sasuke and clutches her chest, biting her lip to hold in her screams. The raven beside her slowly slips up, and eyes slightly widen upon seeing her condition.

"What happened?" The raven asks the blonde beside him.

"You know what happened, Teme!"

"No, I don't." Sasuke replies.

"You mean you don't remember?" The blonde asks, and the raven nods. "You stabbed Sakura. Well, your clone did."

The raven's eyes widen in surprise. "Did you call for a medic?!"

"Yes. She should be here shortly." Kakashi replies, walking towards the trio. "What was that, Sasuke?"

"I have no idea." He replies, clearly shocked that he would openly attack his teammate. The events replay in his head; when he stabbed her, the betrayed and hurt look in her eyes, Naruto coming after him and the duo fighting, then Sakura coming to break it up.

"Gah! Hand me some gauze!" The pinkette yells, reaching with her hand for it. Naruto quickly grabs her pack and pulls it out for her. The pinkette grabs it and wraps it around her chest to slow down the bleeding. She takes deep, heavy breaths as she looks up at the sky.

"Sakura-chan, don't you dare die on me." Naruto says from beside her.

"Don't be a baka, Naruto. I won't die."

"But-"

"Naruto, can I talk to Sakura?" The raven asks. The pinkette's eyes widen slightly in surprise, yet she masks it.

"Well, you're talking to her right now, Teme."

"Alone."

"But-" Suddenly, a whoosh of silver comes and takes him away. "Kakashi-sensei!"

After the raven is sure the blonde and their sensei are out of sight, he speaks, "Sakura." The pinkette doesn't answer. "Sakura."

"What?!" She says between deep breaths.

"... You're... annoying." The raven says, and what little happiness in the pinkette's eyes disappears.

"You tell me that, but-" A pair of lips cut her off. The pinkette's eyes widen in surprise upon realizing the raven's proximity. She melts into the kiss, and all her happiness reappears. "W-what was that for?!" Sakura asks, blushing.

"... Hn. Annoying." Sasuke replies, smirking. "Seriously, get out of my head, will you?"

"S-S-Sasuke-"

At that exact moment, the medic, who appears to be Tsunade, arrives. She kneels next to her student and heals her. "S-shishou..."

"Don't talk." The elder says, fixing the wound. She also gives her a little bit of extra chakra to help her regain her strength. "How could you let this happen?!" She scolds. As the pinkette is about to reply, the raven beats her to it.

"It's my fault. I was put under a genjutsu which made me turn on her." The Uchiha says.

"Is this true, Sakura?" The blonde asks, green hands hovering over the pinkette's chest.

The pinkette glances to the side, debating on whether or not to tell her. "... It's true."

"Well, Uchiha... you seem very guilty, so I'll forget this happened... it would only add to your time behind bars, which I feel is uneccessary. Just don't pull any more stunts like this one, otherwise you'll meet my fist. Is that understood?" Tsunade asks.

"Hai." The raven says, slightly bowing his head.

The blonde healer turns back to her student. "You should be fine. Just be sure not to exert too much motion on it, alright?"

"Hai, arigato." The pinkette says, smiling. The blonde smiles back at her and stands up.

"I'll be off. People to heal, enemies to crush." Tsunade says, walking in the direction of Konoha's medical tents.

The pinkette struggles to stand. A hand snakes it's way around her waist to stop her from falling, and Sakura traces it back to a certain raven.

"S-S-Sa-suke-kun?"

"Sakura. I know that there's probably no way that you can ever forgive me, but-"

Two arms envelope the raven in a hug. "You're forgiven."

The raven looks at the pinkette, eyes softening slightly at her kindness, and happy that he has fallen in love with her.
