Ebba :)Sherlock POV:
Sherlock took a deep breath of the fresh air and enjoyed the sound of birds singing. He decided to spend the day in park with Rosie since the weather was too nice to stay inside. John had finally recovered from the accident and was currently enjoying his first day back at the clinic. The doctor had been more than restless for the past few weeks which Sherlock found incredibly annoying so he's glad John's back to work. Besides John's restlessness so had the last few weeks been incredible. Sherlock had always thought that sentiment was a chemical defect off the losing side but now his mind was more than changed. Loving someone and having them love you back is something truly amazing and an extremely euphoric feeling. Things that he had previously considered unnecessary were now something he could find himself longing for. Sherlock almost has to hold himself back from attacking John with kisses every time he entered the room. Kissing John gave him such an emotional high that not even heroin could top. Sherlock had gone from being a drug addict to being a love addict which sounded so incredibly cheesy that he mentally threw up, but it was nonetheless true. John now filled that empty hole in him that drugs used to fill. He didn't miss drugs one bit, they no longer served a purpose in his life now that he had John. He loved being able to show the world that John was his. Which is a bit hypocritical because he usually hates it when couples display affection in public. But now that he had someone, someone incredibly smart, handsome and caring, he couldn't wait to display their love for the world.
A loud high pitched scream pulled him out of his thoughts. Sherlock immediately started panicking since he assumed it was Rosie, and it was. She was getting chased by a rather angry duck. He immediately sprung up from the bench he was sitting on to come and help her. She hugged Sherlock tightly when he picked her up and her bottom lip wobbled as if she was about to cry.
"Don't cry sweet bee. It's okay, she was just probably angry because she got her kids nearby. She just wants to protect her kids. It's okay, I've got you now." He said reassuringly as he tried to calm her down. She sniffed a little and looked away but met his gaze after he said the last sentence. Rosie smiled a little and looked thoughtful for a couple of seconds.
"Duck children! Duckie got children!" She exclaimed happily after her few seconds of thinking. Sherlock nodded in an encouraging way and tried to to explain to her that they were called ducklings not duck children. They spent almost the entire day at the park, it was nice. The weather was incredible and summer had finally come which meant the park was filled with different beautiful flowers. Rosie picked up the rather annoying habit of informing Sherlock of every flower she saw. It was cute at first but after they had walked by a flower bed filled with almost fifty flowers it had quickly gotten not so cute. Sherlock loved Rosie with all his heart, not just because she's John's child and he loves John. No he loves her because she feels like his own child. He hadn't told John that and wasn't planning on doing so until their relationship had lasted for a bit longer. It was unnecessary to ruin things by getting too serious early on.

Sherlock opened the door to apartment and breathed in the smell of their home. It had gotten a lot less chemically since John moved in here with Rosie but it was still the same. He looked at his writ watch and drew a sigh of relief when he realised there was time to clean the apartment before John came home. It was very messy thanks to a game he played this morning with Rosie. He put Rosie in front of the telly to keep her entertained while he cleaned. Sherlock let his mind wonder while he walked around the living room picking up things from the floor. He rarely cleaned after himself but he found himself doing it quite often now a days. It was his new thing to do when he was bored. He cleaned when he was bored. Sherlock sighed at how domesticated he had become. Sure it was nice playing family but he very often found himself longing for cases. The detective missed being a detective. He missed the thrill of the chase, the investigation and he missed being able to out shine Scotland Yard. Sherlock loved his life right now and was for the first time in a very long times was he truly happy. But god he missed what he and John used to do.
"Sherl? I want bath time." Rosie said as she tugged at his trousers. He hadn't heard her approaching so got a bit startled. Sherlock picked her up easily and they headed for the bathroom. He started filling the bath up and went and got her bath toys from John's room. Sherlock had bought her a set of pirate bath toys and she absolutely loved them. So now whenever she took a bath she wanted to play pirates with him.
They were in the middle of attacking a foreign ship when they heard someone chuckle. Sherlock turned around to look at person who obviously was John and gave him a big smile. John burst out laughing at sight of his boyfriend.
"Why are there... bubbles... on your face?" He managed to get out in between his laughing fits.
"Pirate beard!" Rosie said and held up her ship to show her dad that they were playing pirates.
"Yeah it's my pirate beard." Sherlock said and gave his fake beard a stroke. John smiled and joined Sherlock on the floor next to the tub. He gave Sherlock a quick kiss before he also joined the fun
