That morning, I woke up and I couldn't wait for Robbie to come get me for school. We exchanged numbers last night so I was waiting for Robbie to text me. As if on cue, my phone went off, it was a text from him.
It read, "Hey love! I just left the house. I"ll be there soon, I can't wait to see you :) Wear your Serena outfit." I smiled seeing the text from him. Robbie, my sweet Robbie. Kind, gentle and too good for me. I'm nothing but a loser and he deserves a beautiful girl, someone who is beautiful without makeup and has self esteem. Before more bad thoughts could enter my mind, the doorbell rang. I opened it and there Robbie stood with a beautiful bouquet of red roses.I smiled and said, "Good morning, Robbie. How are you this morning?" He smiled and said, "Good morning love. I'm good, better now that I'm seeing your beautiful face." Robbie handed me the roses. "These are for you beautiful." I thanked him for the flowers and put them in a vase. Robbie came up behind me as I was putting the flowers in the vase and put his arms around me.
"Where's my good morning kiss, beautiful?" I turned around, put my arms around Robbie and pressed my lips to his. He sighed and pulled me closer to him. "What did I do to deserve such a wonderful girl like you?" Robbie asked. I pulled away from him and put my head down.
"Sweetheart, what's wrong?" "You deserve better, Robbie." He turned my face towards him. "What I deserve is you, love. I really like you. He brought his lips back to mine and I melted into the kiss.
"Thank you, Robbie. You didn't have to say that." "But I did, I can't have my girl sad, can I?" He asked. I smiled and pecked his lips. "Come on, let's go to school." We got in Robbie's car and drove to school. When we got there, Robbie and I went our lockers.
"Do you think we should share a locker, Paige?" "Sure, yours or mine?" I asked "It doesn't matter." I moved my things to Robbie's locker and then we headed to math. I don't know why but I was nervous. I didn't know what people would think about Robbie and I together.
When we entered Mrs. Vacanti's room, my nervousness faded away when I saw the smile on Mrs. Vacanti's face. "Good morning love birds." Robbie and I blushed and said, "Good morning."
The rest of the class entered the room and saw Robbie holding my hand. They all started to say things, nothing good. "What are you doing with Paige, Robbie?" She's a loser." "She's ugly." Tears pricked my eyes and I ran out the room, sobbing. I could hear Robbie running after me. He grabbed my hand and brought me in for a hug.
"You know nothing they said is true, right love?" Robbie asked. I shook my head and said, "It is Robbie. You deserve so much better then me." "That's not true, Paige. I deserve you. Do you know what I see when I look at you?" I shook my head and Robbie continued, "I see a beautiful girl who doesn't see the beauty in her. Come on, let's go back to your house. You're too upset to stay in school." We left school and drove back to my house and watched the Pokemon movie: Lucario and the mystery of Mew for the rest of the day.
