Drama Project

Me and Adam are going to do a 16 minute (mostly musical) performance solely about betrayal. We aren't composing the songs ourselves, we're using songs that have previously been made. The lineup is:

• The Confrontation Les Misérables
•The World Was Wide Enough Hamilton
•Duel of Fate Star Wars Amalgam
•You'll Be Back Hamilton
•Prince Ali Reprise Aladdin
•Be Prepared The Lion King

The Confrontation will be a full performance, sung onstage by me and Adam, complete with a duel between Javert (Adam) and Valjean (me)

The World Was Wide Enough will be converted into a spoken scene, rather than a song, because we needed to cover multiple styles in the performance. I will be playing Hamilton, and Adam will be playing Burr. We won't be doing the full song on account of time concerns (it was supposed to be no longer than 15 minutes).

While Duel of Fate was used in The Phantom Menace, we will be condensing the fight between Anakin and Obi Wan from Revenge of the Sith into a minute long pantomime piece, complete with lightsabers (obviously they will be toys). We have not decided who will play who. This will cover another aspect for it (we needed 4, so we chose pantomime, puppet, song, and scene)

You'll Be Back will also be performed in a less traditional style, because this will see Adam using a King George sock puppet and singing the song. We needed another aspect, so we used the puppet. This will be the full song.

The Prince Ali Reprise will feature me as Jafar. I still need to learn this part, but it will be the full song sung by me.

Finally, Be Prepared will conclude this piece, being sung by Adam because he LOVES Scar.
