Shinsou is pretty sure he's going to die. And it's all fault of his friend, Midoriya Izuku, who is sitting right now next to him.

Hitoshi, however, doesn't think that is a bad death: yeah, maybe his heart is going to explode and jump out of his chest any second now, but to think that he would spend the lasts seconds of his life close to Midoriya was far from a bad situation.

"Shinsou, are you alright?" Midoriya asked, moving even closer to him, making Shinsou shiver. He was pretty sure he was going to die now. "Your face is red, you got a fever? Maybe we should go to-"

"I'm fine." was all that Shinsou could manage to say. But obviously the other boy wasn't happy with that answer.

"Let me check you."

"What a-" before the boy could answer, two hands, one on each shoulder, made him face the reason that his body was burning and his palms were sweaty. Izuku was close. VERY CLOSE.

Shinsou was able to see the determined look on him the moment one of his hands was put to his forehead, the other one in Midoriya's forehead. Maybe they stayed like that for no more than five seconds, but luckily to Shinsou the time seemed to stop.

He was able to see Midoriya's face, all of it: his fluffy hair, black and green. His little nose, and in each side one eye, green and bright and with determination in every action he made. His cheeks, so cute and beautiful and with freckles that Shinsou tought could contain constellations and hope and happiness and then, finally, his lips.

Shinsou thought for a second about leaning in, kissing him and then running away, but he discarded the idea quickly because Midoriya was freaking fast, so he would get him before he could run away. But he also knew that the boy got flustered pretty easily, so maybe that gave him enough time to get away.

"Okay, maybe you don't have a fever," Midoriya said, returning Hitoshi back to reality, seeing that the boy had sadly retrieved the hand from his forehead "but you are still very red. Are you sure you're okay?"

I want to kiss you right now "Yeah, really, you don't have to worry."

"Really? I mean, it's okay if you are tired and you want to go to sleep, probably you don't want me even here I'm pretty boring and all I mean I don't have any interesting to tell you maybe I should go and-"

"Midoriya." Shinsou said, making the other boy stop his blabbering. "I'm perfectly fine, and I like spending time with you," why you are so cute is this even legal "so don't go."

"O-okay!" Midoriya quickly said, almost screaming, to then realize what he just did, a blush covering his face in just seconds, then moving his face in the opposite direction, showing his back to Shinsou.

Shinsou knew that it was time already to tell Midoriya how he truly felt, and this morning he really thought he had the courage to tell him. That's why they agreed to go to their usual spot at the academia, a bench near the training fields when they usually relaxed and chatted, even if it was just a little.

"Midoriya, can I ask you something?" Shinsou asked, deciding that even with his nonexistent talking skills, he could come up with an opportunity to ask Midoriya out. Great plan, genius.

"Oh sure, what is it?" the other boy asked, his innocent eyes looking to Shinsou.

"It's... a personal question. It's okay if you don't want to answer."

"Now you got me even more curious!" Midoriya said, his eyes sparkling and oh god I can't do this "Tell me, please!"

Shinsou cleared his throat, took a deep breath and looked over to Midoriya. "Do you like someone?"

The shorter boy became a red mess, his eyes widening and his mouth half open.

"W-w-w-we-well-"

"You don't have to answer if you don't want to, Midoriya." Shinsou repeated, worried that the other boy would pass out or something.

"N-no!" Midoriya screamed suddenly, but it was nearly to the volume of an actual scream since he had covered his face with his hands "I'm fine, I'm fine! It's just that the question caught me off guard, it's all!"

Shinsou still looked doubtful, until he heard Midoriya. "...You like someone?"

Isn't it obvious "I asked first, Midoriya."

"...I like someone."

The answer surprised Shinsou, but he didn't let that show to his face as he answered "Me too."

They both stayed in silence, without looking each other. Suddenly, Midoriya turned around, his hand covering his face, but he could see his bright and green eyes between the cracks of the hands.

"If you want," Midoriya started, opening his hands a little bit more "we could say who we like at the same time."

This is your best opportunity dude, go for it.

"...Okay. In Three."

"Okay, okay." The other boy took some deep breaths, and a couple of seconds later he started the count "One."

"Two."

Shinsou was ready. Here it comes don't cry when he doesn't say your name.

"You."

"You."

Both Midoriya and Shinsou looked at each other, speechless. Midoriya started to move his legs back and forth like a turbine, muffled screams coming from his mouth hidden behind his hands, and his whole body reaching a new shade of red that humanity have never seen before. Shinsou probably was even worse, turning his face away and looking everywhere except where he should we looking right now.

After what seemed like an eternity, Shinsou recovered enough sanity to move his head a little so he could be able to look at Midoriya. He found the other boy looking at him, both of them crossing sight for an instant before their eyes retreated back.

"Um," Midoriya said, slowly, like he was (and Shinsou was certain that he truly was) choosing his words carefully "what... do we do now?"

"I... I don't know."

He truly didn't know. He never liked someone, probably because of his Quirk: people didn't like that someone could make them do anything without their consent.

But Midoriya was different. He accepted Shinsou, he trusted him. Maybe that was the reason that he had fallen in love for the boy.

Suddenly, his face was turned 90 degrees, and the only thing that he could see was Midoriya's beautiful eyes. Then they were closed and his face was touching his.

His lips were touching Midoriya's.

Midoriya was kissing him.

It only lasted a moment, and before he could fully registrer what had happened, Shinsou saw Midoriya looking at him with the eyes open like he had never seen them before.

"O-OH MY GOD IM SO S-SORRY SHINSOU I SHOULDNT HAVE DONE THAT IM SO ASHAMED I AM SO SORRY I'LL LEAVE NOW I AM REALLY SORRY"

Midoriya tried to get up and run away, but before he could Shinsou grabbed him by the wrist, pushing him down again and making him land in his torso.

The shorter boy tried to apologize and get up again, but he suddenly felt two arms holding him close. Shinsou wasn't planning on letting him go.

"It's okay."

Shinsou could feel Midoriya calming down, and then his arms wrapping him, making their bodies come a little closer. It was nice.

"...I like you,Hitoshi."

"I like you too,Izuku."

This was truly nice.
