Zacky:
Ahh....Christmas. Probably my favourite time of the year. Well, I have my birthday exactly 2 weeks before the actual hliday, which means presents, then there's Christmas itself..so you already know what that means!
It's the 3rd of Dec, and Syn and I have decided to put up the decorations and chessy stuff around the house.
I'm just shutting off the laptop in the sittingroom when Syn comes into the room with a HUGE box of decorations, almost tripping over as he walked in.
"Hey Zee! Look what I found!" he exclaimed happily. He was excited about this, I could tell.
"Hmm...I wonder what that means?" I ask sarcastically, and smirk at him.
"Well, I guess I'm doing the decorating myself then, huh?" he replies, pouting, but trying to hold back a smile. He takes a snowman candle from the box.
"Oh no you're not!" I say, taking the candle from him gently ande walking over to the window with it.
It was snowing, and it was landing heavily. I could barely see the snowflakes in the dark, even though it was only about quarter to seven. Damn! And holy crap it was freezing! Condensation fogged the window, so I drew a cartoon version of the Deathbat, our band Avenged Sevenfold's, logo.
I put the candle by the window, so it was looking outside,a dn walked back to Syn.
"Haha, you should've been a home designer instead of a guitarist!" he says with a smile, making me melt inside. It was..um...the festive season making me feel like this! Yeah!
"I bet I can finish decorating the house bfore you, Syn!" I challenge him, folding my arms and grinning at him. He raises an eyebrow.
"That a bet, Vengeance?" he asks in a low voice, taking a gold baulb from the box.
"You bet." I reply, taking a red one.
*Fast forward time xD*
Finally the house was finished. Red and gold tinsel draped from every window frame, a simple wreath hung outside the front door, ornaments sat on the fireplace and...the tree. Wow, it was amazing! Typical Christmas colours of red, gold, silver, some pink and green baulbs were hung all over it. And there was gold lights twirling around it to give it a pretty effect.
But something was missing..
"I think we forgot something, Syn.." I say, looking up at the tree. I hear him come into the sittingroom and turn to him. He has a huge grin on his face, and his hands are behind his back. He looks like a child trying to hide something.
"Oh..I wonder what it could be? Is it...shiny? Or sparkly, by any chance?" he asks, as he shows what was behind his back, which was what was missing.
The star!
I laugh at his manner. "I knew you were up to something!" I say. He shrugs, still smiling. I look up at the top of the tree. It was taller than me..WAY taller than me. I mean, if you think of how short Johnny is, he could practically take shelter under it. No joke!
