All About a Boy

So I've been doing Friday night leagues for my archery. And recently, I've been falling for a boy, Ben. My closest archery friends Jess and Donna don't know. I don't even know if they caught on or if I act weird around him. I don't even know if I act weird around him or blush or anything. Ben is in the JOAD program (Junior Olympic Archery Development) with Donna, Jess, and I so we see each other on practices and he is doing the Friday night leagues too. Last time we got targets next to each other and were teasing each other and making a playful competition between the two of us. I ended up beating him by one point and he shot really well. I got 359 out of 360 with 20 X's. Ben got 358 out of 360. I'm not sure about X's though. Either way, it was really fun. Jess and I are always on par with each other. This past competition, we had the same exact score! 359 and 20 X's. But we have these things called handicaps. Each end, you can get 30 points. Each round, you can get up to 120 points. So if I shot on the first competition all 0's, my handicap would be 120 and that would be added on points to the scare I get next time. So if I shot the second shoot 348, my handicap, being 120, would automatically score higher than 120 so the score would be just 120. But this year the lowest I've scored was 355 points out of 360. However my handicap is very low. I have 1 handicap on the first round. 1 handicap on the second. And 0 on the third round. Archery is my go to place to relax and let out all the stress. I shoot my problems away. Not really anyone at archery knows what I'm going through except Jess. But I've only told her about half of the things. Anyways. This upcoming Friday night league is the last one. And tonight is a JOAD party for the JOAD members. So anyways. Today at school, in first period, Theatre, we had watched the Emporers New Groove. It was good I guess, besides the fact that I felt like I annoyed everyone with my presence. School was just a normal day today, nothing new. So moving to the archery practice. It wasn't a practice this time, but rather a party being 4 JOAD members were graduating and going to college. So it was really fun. We got a group picture and Ben actually sat next to me while we ate. We had a nice conversation with our group and then Ben and I had a mini competition with each other. I beat him the first round and then he neat me on the second. What's funny is he then bragged to mine, his, and Jess' mom. And then I came over when I heard my name and I roasted him when I said just wait till fiday night league and flipped his hat and the patents were laughing and so was Ben. I sat next to him and the moms were laughing at both of us for some odd reason or because they were joking about something. Then before we knew it, we left and so yeah. It was a fun night. The food was great. And I saw Ben and I felt really hot the whole time.
