My vision becomes blurry and I hear nothing but sirens and sobbing of familiar people next door to my house. I go over to the house next door to talk to Saundra's parents to ask whats going on but what i see laying on the steps changes my life and point of view. She was laying on the steps breathless, hopeless, and lifeless with a forgetful wound in her head. I clutched my fist as I turned around to see a black car slowly drive away. I ran into my house slammed my door shut and screamed as loud as I could to reveal my anger. All is lost I thought to myself but there is still more to be done. I ran upstairs to see my sword laying on my bed with the glow of plasma surrounding it. I knew what needed to be done. I grabbed the sword and instantly appeared in a deserted town almost like a different version of the one i live in.
I hear screams in the distance, cries for help. I slowly walk down the torn up road that runs down my street. I am startled by a door slammed shut by the harsh wind. I get a glimpse on the house and realize that its my house. The first thing that comes to my mind is that maybe in this dimension Saundra is still alive so I quickly rush onto Saundra's porch and bang harshly on her door hoping that someone opens it but instead I hear a gunshot from inside. I run into the house and see none is home but just to be sure I grasp my sword tightly and slowly approach the doorways inside the house. As I walk upstairs I hear a glass break in the Master bedroom which startled me. I slowly walk into the Master bedroom to see a light coming from under the closet door. I slowly approach the door and place my hand on the knob preparing for whatever lies behind it.
I threw the door open to see another one of those horned creatures pounce at me but luckily my sword was pointed upwards causing the beast to get stabbed by my blade. I push the beast off of me and slowly get up making sure there are no more to be seen. I look out the window to see the sun rise in the distance and think to myself...All is not lost.
