Mackenzie's Secret.

Chapter 1: The Little Voices.

Under a tall tree with many ripe fruits above it, I was reading a lovely book. I was sitting cross legged under its shadow since it was a very hot day. The sky was very blue, the white clouds, like great swans, went floating over the lake nearby, to and fro. Just opposite me was a clump of green bushes, with dark velvety spikes, and amongst them one single tall red cardinal flower. I stayed there admiring the beauty of nature around me.

Then suddenly I heard little voices behind me, one was very high and the other was kind of low. I turned behind and saw two birds saying,  "Mackenzie did" and "Mackenzie didn't". They repeated those words over and over again, getting me more confused by the minute. It was especially the fact that they used my name, Mackenzie, in their sentences. It has always been like this since when I was younger. I feel like I understand what they are thinking of. But I try not to think about this.

Once I wanted to go home, the same
' awkward ' birds were running behind me following my path. I stared feeling worried I am just 14 turning 15 in 2 days. So I better get home and rest a little bit.

While I was laying on my bed, my phone vibrated and obviously, it was Brooklyn my bff that can't leave me alone for 1 minute!

" Hello"

"Hey Mackenzie, its almost the big day better get ready!"
I just rolled my eyes filled with boredom annoyed by Brooklyn.

"Yeah but don't get to exited cause school first."

"Yeah bla, bla school first. But promise me you're going to be at the mall directly after school OK?!

" fine yes I promise, I swear."

"Great! See ya at school. Bye"

"Adios amigos!"
When I was at the kitchen eating my bowl full of cereals, my mom screamed:" GET YOUR BUTT HERE MACKENZIE!!!!"
I had to leave my great bowl of cereal alone for school.
