The world is a post-modern/futuristic land of technology and science. The year is 2088. People have settled other planets (though this will be only a small part of the roleplay (unless y'all want it to have a bigger part. I can do that)).

Technology is implemented in everything from the toilets to even your own body. Machinery has taken over most jobs, leaving the population mainly fat and extremely rich or malnourished and extremely poor.

There are three zones used to seperate people in the world. These boundaries are not so much seperated with fences, but they are enforced by social class mostly.

Though there are multiple zones, most of the countries are the same. Each country has a representative that represents it in the government.

Gold zones: these are the areas of the rich. They are stocked with magnificent statues and art along their streets, flaunting their richness. These gold zones are polished to a crisp, there is no sign of anything unclean in the gold zone (maybe except the greed of its residents). Those who live in the gold zone are the stupidly wealthy and rich, these people control most of the government but, ironically, know so little about the outside world that they really can't govern it properly. People are aware of the problems within the government such as corruption, greed, etc but the only ones who can really make a difference are in the gold zone. Though there were some obstacles at first, the movement to reelect the government officials has been moving swiftly. But it's not as clear cut as it seems. (More on the election below).

Green zone: This zone is the smallest of them all. The green zone is made up of the military, labor workers, and others with middle class jobs that robots couldn't do themselves. This zone isn't as clean as the gold zone nor as dirty as the red zone, it's like the average of the two. Technology still controls almost everything here but it implemented less than in the gold zone to allow the middle class here to work. The middle class is dissipating day by day, either people are getting a promotion to the gold zone or are losing their jobs to machines and leaving to find work in the red zone.

Red zone: This is the largest zone of them all, filled with the poor and dirty. Criminals run rampant here since there are very little laws that are enforced. This is where Timeline mainly decides to set up their HQ since none of Cornerstones agents would dare to step foot in it. The red zone is disgusting and dirtied. The streets are never cleaned and the whole place is riddled with trash, it's sad really. Technology has no place here, most here turn to the older ways of farming and manual labor. Though most of the red zone is a raging storm of crime and drugs, there are little pockets of civilization. Some people band together and make their own settlements and trade with others for supplies. These settlements, for the most part, support Timeline and serve as hiding spots for agents when needed.

The government: After the War to End All (more on that below) each country collapsed. Their governments all crumbled due to the nuclear warfare, each country fought each other for resources. For a while, it was total chaos. Until a man named James B. Everson rose up and, with the help of the remaining officials of each country, rebuilt the governments and reestablished peace. The world was so greatful that each government combined under one ruler: Everson. Each country sent a representative to represent their beliefs and needs in the new government. This government worked for a few years, until Everson was tragically murdered in 2072. A new ruler took his place only a few days later. The new ruler was cruel and greedy, he was willingly paid off. Soon, with the ruler's lack of care for the world the zones were implimented as a societal rule.

The Election. Due to corruption within the government people have been calling for a reelection. This movement is mainly supported by the residents of the red zone, and, since the population is growing every day, their movement is gaining a bit of traction. The government is actually, slowly, succumbing to their wants. But, just like a coin, this election has two sides. The election is gaining most of its momentum due to its supporters. And guess who the main supporter is? Yep, you got it! Cornerstone. With the support of Cornerstone the movement skyrocketed, gaining new power and credibility. As of lately, if the Election gets pushed through, the new representative for Ruler will be Robert Curtis.

The War to End All: After tensions between the U.S.A. and the middle eastern countries grew to a peak in 2019, the first nuclear bomb of the war was launched from Afghanistan by ISIS and landed in Miami, Florida. The bomb killed almost the entire population of Miami and irradiated the area for miles. Though the launch was framed to look like the government had planned this attack. America then launched a nuke back at them, then Japan fired missiles on England. England fired back, one of the missile launches was hacked by terror groups and the missile landed in North Korea. North Korea, as paranoid as they were at the time, thought this was a deliberate attack by the U.N. and declared war. Soon, the other countries were at war with one another, no one knew who was their friend. For years, nuclear war destroyed the world, the representatives remaining of each government fled to safety, hiding away until the war was finished.
