The White Lotus wasn't the best place for this meeting. Generally, you don't ask a group of criminals to meet you in a high-end Chinese diner. However their employer, Ms. Lei Ying Jie, didn't seem to give two fucks, because there they were sitting in a booth waiting for her appearance. Inside of the booth, sit a pair of males and a pair of females. The guys couldn't possibly look any more different from each other. The one sitting closest to the window is a relatively short brunette Caucasian strumming the hell out of an electric guitar. Spray painted onto the guitar is the word 'NEBULA' , all caps. Beside her is a black man wearing a pristine suit, staring blankly into the distance. His eyes glowing with a faint blue light, revealing the synthetic nature of both his eyes.

The women are also quite different, one is an Asian lady with a large katana strapped onto her back. Upon further inspection, it becomes apparent that she wields a pair of cybernetic arms in place of her natural ones. Next to her and opposite the man with the blue eyes the other woman is a blue-haired girl looking nervously at her feet.

Momentarily, The gentle strumming of the guitar fills the booth. Then, the peace breaks. The guitarist, Nebula, pipes up.

"Yo Doc', are these people coming or what. This is why I didn't wanna fuck with gangsters, they're just a bunch of rude bastards.."

Gradually, The man with the blue eye shifts his attention from the window to the other male, "You're not a child, be patient. In fact, believe they're coming now."

A chinese waiter walks over and places a silver platter on the table. When Doc removes the top, none other than Ms. Lei pops up in everyone's AR display. She immediately begins speaking.

"Hello Operators, I really must apologize for such an unconventional way to hold a meeting, but I am a very busy woman, As you all can see I don't have the time to sit down for a meeting. In fact, I barely have time to make this display for you all, so I'll be as brief as possible hence. Sword and Sorcery Security has been quite the thorn in my side recently." The familiar logo representing the SSS pops into everyone's AR display.

"So, I'm going to need your assistance in . . . extracting the daughter of Giovanni Lucchese. He's a security manager for the SSS, and having his child hostage is exactly the bargaining tool we need. However, her location alludes us, so we're going to need you to track her down. When you find her, bring her here. And I know I don't have to say that success is not an option. " and with that, the display cuts.

Nebula taps the silver platter. Then he taps it again, Then, he taps it again. Until he finally opens up his mouth to speak.

"Where the fuck is the rest of it. How the FUCK are we supposed to this mission with so little intel, Lei? "

"The SSS heavily conceals the identities of the family of its employees. Sometimes they even go as far as to kill the families of their managers themselves, we'll be lucky if this child is still alive. " replies the japanese woman, her electronic voice crackling with every word. She then turns towards Doc, "This run doesn't sound easy, but I do know quite a few people inside the SSS who may be able to assist us."

The crew spends the rest of the evening discussing a plan, of course it wouldn't be a meeting without Nebula throwing a fit when he doesn't get his way or Samurai 67 glaring at him until he calms down. The plan turns out to be Samurai & Nebula going to 67's contacts to see what they can find. Back at the Compound, Ace and Doc are going to poke around in the Matrix and see what they might find.
