Dreams

I woke up suddenly drenched in sweat and fear, gasping! "It's only a dream." I repeatedly said to my self, as my body returned to its normal state. Athena ran in and asked "what's wrong, what's wrong?" "I heard you scream!" She panted, "It was only a dream." I replied. "Valentine! Again! You woke Aaron up!" Athena said as little Aaron walked in. "Are you ok, Auntie vali?" Aaron asked in his cute little voice, "yes I'm fine," I admitted. You see I have been staying at Athena's house for 4 months now because I lost my job and couldn't face my parents, if they found out i lost the house I would be dead! So Athena and Aaron took me in, and of course she would she is my best friend and my only friend.

I got up slowly, still a bit shaken up Athena grabbed my hand. "Thanks!" I said as I hugged her, "For what?" She asked. "For taking me in and putting up with my nightmares," I replied with a smile on my face. "Was it the same as last night?" she enquired, "Yeah, but..." She sent Aaron out of the room, he didn't protest and went out. "I..I could see the shadows eyes!!" I stammered! My eyes became blurry and I felt boiling hot, suddenly it all went black.

"Valentine! Valentine!" I heard a voice. What it an angel? No it was Athena. "Ath-hena?" I mumbled as my eyes opened, I quickly shut them again because of the blinding light. "Oh thank god your ok!" She stammered, my eyes widened when I saw who was before me! "Mum? Dad?" I gulped. "Hello hunny. Are you ok?" Mum reassured as she hugged me tighter, "Sorry we haven't been here, we love you but it's hard an all living in Australia," Dad apologised! 'Wait what, how did they get here so fast?' I thought to myself, "H-How long was I out?" I uttered. "Erm...," Athena began, she seemed nervous, "3 months!" She continued. I suddenly realised I was in a hospital bed, how did I not notice it before? My mum leaned over me, kissed me on the forehead and left. My dad trailed behind her as he kissed me, adding I love you to the mixture of my confusion.

"What do you remember?" Athena asked in a sympathetic voice. "My Dream, then....." I didn't finish, I saw a dark figure in the corner of my eye and I stiffened. I turned slowly around, to find nothing. Nothing? Must have been my imagination. I simply pushed it aside, "wh-hats wrong?" Athena asked, looking worried. "N-nothing." I replied, "ok where was I...oh yeh my dream, I remember my dream, then...." It was there again the figure, I'm sure I wasn't imagining it, "I-I need to leave," I announced "just need some fresh air, to clear my head!" I added. "I'll come with you," Athena answered, "No.... I need to be on my own!" I responded. She looked hurt, but before I knew it the look was gone.

🔭outside🔭

I breathed in and sighed. I started crying, 'why am this way?' I thought, 'these dreams put me in hospital!!' I angrily kicked a rubbish bin and it fell down. *twig snapped* I whirled round, I saw a dark figure with black eyes. I'm not imagining anything, I followed the figure. He ran through a dark forest, *owls hooting* I jumped at a the sound. 'Why am I following this figure?' I thought to myself, 'You're curious' I thought spoke back.

Suddenly the black figure disappeared! Where did it go? I search the area, looking behind bushes. Nothing! Just as I was about to head back, something glinted in the moon light. I walked closer, at reaching my hand out....my hand went straight through it! 'Huh?' I thought and I slowly went closer, I stepped though the glistening shield. I was in a cave? It was dark, but luckily I had my iPhone and I used the flashlight, "Thanks Athena," I muttered to myself.

Athena's POV

'Where is she?' I panicked, while I was looking for her round the hospital. She seemed a bit odd before she went outside, she kept looking behind her! I couldn't see anything! She looked terrified, yet curious.

Valentines POV

I slowly crept through the dark cave, I heard a voice and I immediately turned round. No one was there? Then I realised it was coming from in front if me, I pearled round the corner and there was a girl about my age (19). She had her eyes closed and layed down on a rock (which looked like a bed). She began to open them and saw the figure standing over her. I could see HIM clearer now he had brown and a cloak round him. The girl looked at him with loving eyes. And his black eyes showed nothing, "You have not done what I have asked you Sarah!" He growled. 'Sarah!' I thought, I knew what happened next she got a dagger to the chest! "This was my dream!"I gasped quietly. But... Wait I didn't die I-I, woke up before the dagger penetrated my skin.

I saw the dagger come out of his pocket and he lifted it, but before I could help it he killed her! I ran towards him, and pushed him. "What?" He gasped as he fell, I hugged her tight. I didn't know who she was but she was still alive and needed comforting. He got up and tried hitting me, but.......
