As I wake up I see that Kayla wasn't in bed, Maybe she went to make breakfast. As I go downstairs I see my two kids, Kate and Nate running around the house. I pick them both up and plop them down on the sofa, they giggle and hug me what a family. I look up and see Kayla smiling I go up to her and kiss her forehead she chuckles then she sits down on the table along with Nate and Kate.

"Papa do you have to go to work?"

"Well if I didn't You guys wouldn't have toys"

"yeah go to work"

"Okay guys lets eat"

We all started to eat and when I was done I headed off but then for some reason I remembered the old lady that helped us when we went into the forest. I ran towards the forest and started looking for the house of course you may all be thinking I'm crazy to go back there after 8 years but that lady helped us and I have to at least see her one more time before she's gone.

As I knock on the door I see dead plants and buckets full of water. Then someone opened the door it was the old lady but not the same. She looked young and very sad

"Hello do you remember me?"

"Oh yes come in"

I came in and say sat on the sofa what am I doing? She sat down in front of me and have me a cup of tea. She smiled then touched my hand, what was she doing?

"Um its been a while"

"Nathan what are you doing"

"What do you mean? I just came here to vist-"

"Haven't you been depressed this whole time that you wouldn't come back?"

"What are you talking about?"

Then for a split second I was in the same forest but I was hurt and tears were coming out of my eyes and my throat hurt. What was going on? Then when I looked up I saw Eli and Kayla holding hands looking at me with tears coming out of their eyes but they were smiling like it was going okay.

"ELI, KAYLA WHAT'S GOING ON??!!!"

"Nathan...Goodbye"

Then I remembered what  happened, the killers in the forest came inside the old lady's house and chased us through the hole house. But we managed to escape and run into the forest again but eventually the killers catched up then eli and I started to fight them but we would always get cut with their sharp knifes. Then when they told us they wanted to kill at least two of us eli and kayla held hands and said goodbye and left the world just like that. So me and kayla having a family was just my imagination because I didn't want to face reality.

"GOOD BYE ELI...GOOD BYE KAYLA...I'LL NEVER FORGET YOU JUST PROMISE ME WE'LL SEE EACH OTHER AGAIN!"

"Nathan its not goodbye its until next time"

Then they fell

We should of never went to that forest..

Hide were the words that were always in my head

Now the words in my head are "Until next time"

Something I regret was that I never choose to....
