DETALOSI TIMES

FAMILY OF CAMPERS DISAPPEAR.

Yesterday morning, Dennis and Rosanna Johnson and their two sons, Daniel (6) and Michael (4), were reported missing by a close friend. The Johnson's had been camping in the Rowan Woods, and was expected back 3 weeks ago. Yesterday, their friend and neighbour, Mrs Josie Fletcher became worried.

"I tried to call them, but they didn't answer." She said. "Then I drove to the place where they usually camp in the woods and I found their tent and all their things but they weren't there!

"I called out for them but they didn't answer. Then I ran back to my car and called the police."

No one has seen the Johnson's since they left for their camping trip.

We also talked to Mr Andrew Stooge, Chief Commissioner of the Police.

"We searched throughout the whole forest, but we've found no trace of the Johnson family." He said. "It's only a matter of time before we do."

"Turn your phone off!" Mum said. "Look out the window, the views are beautiful out here."

Elsa sighed and turned it off. She stared out the window. There was just a bunch of trees and wide, open fields of nothing but grass. Yeah. How beautiful.

Elsa and her family were on the way to Detalosi, an isolated town in the middle of no where. Mum said they had to go because they needed to get away from the city for once, but Elsa liked the city. There was always lots of people in cities, and she hated being alone.

Elsa's mum, on the other hand, didn't like the city because she hated it when there was too many people.

Now Elsa wasn't allowed to use her phone so she had nothing to do. Elsa's ten-year-old brother, Ashton was asleep beside her. Even if he was awake he'd be no fun. All he cares about is his iPad and playing childish games.

"You know Elsa, this is your chance to get away from technology. Read a book, sit outside, play a board game with Ashton." Dad said.

"Sure." Elsa replied. 13-year-olds are supposed to use technology, she thought, staring out the window again.

Old style shops began to appear. They were in Detalosi.
