I drove into the woods. Yes as creepy and fucked up that sounds that's where we went. My mind kept wandering to what had happened back at the school. I knew for a fact that I had gotten myself into something bigger than just taking Octavia away from the likes of Skye. This was going to be one hell of a year. I focused on Octavia and let those thoughts drift away. She looked calm and she gave me the look that had killed me every single day up to this moment. "Thank you. Again." I looked at her and snapped back to reality. "Oh.. Yeah it was nothing." I stammered. She smiled at my crimson red cheeks. "Sorry for staring" I said. She looked at me and leaned in close to my face. I leaned in as well slowly. She looked at me and brought her finger to my lips. I looked at her in confusion and she nudged her head and said "Listen". I heard nothing I mouthed "What?" There was pure silence. I looked at her and she suddenly grabbed my face and pulled me towards her face. Her lips were smooth and her tongue pressed gently against mine. I got goosebumps and butterflies in my stomach. I grabbed her face and grazed my hands against her neck. She grabbed my shirt and started unbuttoning it, but I stopped her. I backed away from her lips carefully and looked at her. "Listen as much as I like you, you still have a girlfriend. And I don't want to rush into things and get ourselves both hurt. I'm sorry." Octavia looked at me like I had given her the world. "Thank you. I've never heard those words before and you're right. I really like you and hopefully things can fix themselves." Hopefully I thought.
