Bucky's P.O.V

Today is the worst day of my life. Steve has to leave for a mission... for a whole year! He might not even come back and I finally got a job as a security guard. Its a night shift job. I don't know what I'm going to do without my sweet Steve. I want him to stay so badly but, he can't.

"Bucky." He nudges my shoulder.

I lift up my head as tears start to form in my dark eyes.

"Its time." He says

With that I hug him tight and kiss him.

"I love you Steve." I whimper

"I love you too Buckaboo." He kisses me.

He then let's go and walks off to his plane. I try so hard not to cry as he gets on the plane but, tears slide down my cheeks and I cover my mouth trying not to make noise. What do I do? He's gone. I love him.

Steve's P.O.V
I'm on the plane now. I see Bucky. He's crying. The love of my life is crying because, of me. Because, I had to leave for a stupid mission that anyone else could've gone and done. But no. My need for saving people got in the way. I should be home protecting him. Bucky, the person in my life who means the most to me. He needs me. I know it. I try so hard not to cry. I love him and I miss him already. I want to be with him still. I want to hold him. I need him.

"Steve?" Natasha nudges me.

"Yes?" I turn around facing her.

"Are you ok?" She asks me

"Yeah, I- I just need to be left alone right now." I say with a hoarse voice.

"Ok." Sh nods her head and leaves.

I'm so sorry Bucky. I'm so sorry I had to leave. I never wanted to leave you. Take care of yourself and Peggy please. Be happy. Do the things you live and need. I'm so sorry. I'm so so sorry. I'm going to miss your touch. I love you.
