Chapter 21

Jessie's POV:

Without thinking, I reached into my very full purse to try and find my phone. Once I had it in my grasp, I pulled it out and turned it on. "Becky" Snap Chatted again. And suddenly, my stomach dropped, and I am assuming that so did my face.

"Babe, hey what's wrong?" Chandler asked concerned as he reached out and touched my arm.

"Oh nothing, I must have zoned out." I replied, trying to shake it off before actually opening it and looking at the snap. What the heck. I was a picture of me and Chandler when he leaned across the table to kiss me, from outside the window.

It read, "Enjoy it while it lasts;)" What's that supposed to mean?

"Ok babe, I know something's wrong just tell me." He spoke up once again with concern lacing his voice.

"It's not important." I replied quickly while putting my phone back into my purse and zipping it up.

"If it's bothering you then yes it is very important." He protested.

"Fine," I sighed, "Who's Becky?" I asked with a straight face. His face on the other hand, went from concern to confusion.

"Um, I don't know." He replied nervously. He isn't very good at lying.

"Bull." I replied getting kind of upset that he isn't just straight up telling the truth after all we've been through.

"Jessie wait, it's... It's the girl from the party. Why are you asking me this?" He finally told the truth.

"She added me on Snap Chat and has been snapping me things." I told him. I wasn't sure if it was such a good idea to say anything, but it had to be said.

"Jessie. What did the snaps say?" His voice suddenly changed to being very serious and I don't know why.

"Practically saying that you won't be mine forever, and that what happened at the party won't be the last. And... um.." I was scared to explain the most recent Snap Chat to him. I was afraid of how he would react.

"And?... What Jessie?" He asked suddenly starting to get curious yet concerned.

"And, the most recent snap was taken of us when we kissed. It was taken from outside this window. It said to enjoy it while it lasts." I replied. Feeling extremely nervous about how he would react to everything. I couldn't even look at him, the only thing I could do was sit there starring at my hands on my lap.

"Jessie lets go, I'm getting you out of here." He told me sternly, but with all the sternness in his voice, I heard a lot of concern as well. He suddenly reacted and took me by the hand as we started to exit the building. Good thing we already paid because I don't think he would have stopped walking until we were at the car.

"Chandler what's going on." I questioned as my heart began to beat a thousands beats per second.

"Just get in the car." He replied quickly as he opened the door for me letting me in, then getting in himself.

"Chandler?" I asked placing my hand on him leg as he began to drive.

"Jessie, you need to understand how much that party was all a big mistake to me, and that, no matter what Becky says. I'm yours. And only yours. No one can take me away from you. Becky is crazy, and I don't want anything to do with her. She is just trying to ruin us, so please promise me you won't let her get to you." He spoke softly, while keeping his eyes on the road.

"I promise. I love you." I told him sincerely as I took out my phone and opened it to Snap Chat. The first thing I did was go to Becky's account, and click the block button.

"I love you too." He replied as a gentle smile creped across his face.

Along the drive, it started to rain really bad to the point where we could almost barely see the roads. Good thing we were just pulling into the driveway.

"Ready?" I asked him with a smirk as he parked and shut off the car.

"Ready for what?" He asked with a slight chuckle.

"To see who will get into the house faster!" I yelled as I opened the door closing it behind me and running as fast as I can towards the front door.

"That's unfair!" I heard him yell from behind me once I reached inside.

"How is it unfair?" I questioned as he finally got into the house with me.

"Because I let you win." He smirked.

"Ha.Ha.Ha Yea right. Nice try though." I replied with a slight laugh as I patted him on the should and begun to walk towards the couch.

"You can't win everything you know." He replied with a slight chuckle as he followed behind me, and took a seat right next to me, putting his arm around me as I scooted closer to him.

"Mm yea I can." I replied with a smile looking up at him to be met by his lips.

"Get a room please. Just because everything is better between the two of you, and I am happy for you don't get me wrong! Doesn't mean you have to kiss in front of me." Mikey said as he walked passed us towards the kitchen. My face, without a doubt turned red.

"Sorry!" I shouted at Mikey while trying not to laugh.

"It's okay, I'll forgive you just this once!" Mikey shouted back which made me break out laughing slightly.

"Anyways," Chandler chuckled, "What do you want to watch?" He asked.

"Something not so scary. Something like Disney." I smiled up at him as I snuggled closer to him while he turned on "Finding Dory."

Tonight was crazy, but in the end, it actually turned out pretty nice considering I'm here, in the arms of my boy. My safe place.
