Chapter 13: Falling sick

<jisoo's pov>

I came to class and saw the seat beside me empty. Hmm? Jin is not here? Yay I don't have to be his servant for today! I walked to my seat and sat down. My phone vibrated. Let me check who messaged me. Jin?

"Yah Jisoo I'm sick I can't go to school, come and take care of me."

"You're sick? I can't go now, I'm in class."

"Then when can you come?"

"After school I guess."

"You better rush here quickly before I die."

"Don't exaggerate, how are you feeling? Are you having a fever?"

"I have a cold and fever. I'm coughing a little. My head hurts too

"Drink water, I'll come after school."

"Rest more and stop texting me."

I ended the conversation. I wonder if he's alright... Fever? Headache? He should go to the doctor and check up. He should drink soup later... Wait... why am I worried? He's alright, he is just having fever and headache.

I should stop thinking about him... *after school*I took a bus to Jin's house. I just realised that his house is quite close to mine.. Once again, I was astonished by the beautiful house before me.

I knocked on the door. "Hey, it's Jisoo here."The door opened. I was back to the pink wonderland again, feels good to be in a pink room, it makes me happy. I saw Jin lying down on his white sofa, with a pale face. He was wrapped in a blanket.

<jin's pov>

Jisoo is here. Ah... my head still hurts. "Buy me soup."I said weakly. "I bought already,"Jisoo said, waving the plastic bag in her hand. "Wow that's fast""Of course, I knew you would want soup, so I bought it before hand."Jisoo responded proudly.

"How'd you know..."I muttered. She placed the soup on the coffee table and helped me up. "The soup is hot, feed me."I said. "Aish, fine. I'll feed you."Jisoo groaned.

She blew the soup and carefully fed me. I stared at her. I suddenly felt that Jisoo was really beautiful, I felt like I finally looked at her face up-close, and spotted every detail on her face.

She has sparkly eyes, a sharp nose and the cutest smile. It felt like I was in an art gallery admiring a piece of perfect art. Jisoo probably sensed me staring at her, so she said:"Yah, why are you looking at me?"

"No, I wasn't,"I denied. "I'll be right back,I'm going to wash the bowl."she said and walked to the kitchen. I laid down on my sofa again. Somehow, I felt better. My head doesn't hurt as much anymore.

I guess I got better because of Jisoo's presence. "Ah-choo!"I sneezed. "Are you cold? Do you want another blanket? Jisoo asked. "I think I don't-"I sneezed again before I finished my sentence. "I'm getting another blanket for you. Where is it? In your bedroom?"she asked. "Yeah, go upstairs."I said.

<jisoo's pov>

Whoa... Jin's bedroom... It's so big! SO many mario figurines, I bet he is a mario fan. I saw a family photo on his table beside his bed. Woah...they look bonded, they really look like a family...unlike mine.

I went to his drawers to check where the blankets are. Hmm? I saw a photo of Jin and another girl together. They look happy... Is that his ex? She is pretty. I placed the photograph back and took a blanket.

I walked down the stairs and covered Jin with the blanket. He was asleep. Ah... he is handsome. I brushed his hair and went to the kitchen. His head was warm. I got some cold water and a cloth.

I sat at the side of the sofa, dipped the cloth in cold water, and placed the cloth on his forehead. He looks very ill, I really hope he'll get better soon. I took the cloth from his forehead and dipped it with cold water again.

When I placed it back on his forehead, he suddely grabbed my hand and hugged me. "Thank you... thank you for everything..."Jin said.

"Ah... Gwenchaenna... I mean, I'm your servant so I... I guess I'm supposed to take care of you...?"I stammered. Jin hugged me tighter. What is happening?? I didn't know what was going on but I hugged Jin back anyways.

I soon let go of Jin and rested his head on the pillow. I checked his temperature. 37c(degree celcius). His fever has gone down. "Yah, your fever has gone down already, I'll leave now."I said.

"Hug me first.""Didn't I just-""Hug me.""Fine." I hugged Jin and left his house. Woah... Jin is acting weird, he's not bossing me around... Probably because he is sick today. I wonder what the hugs were for though...

<jin's pov>

I feel much better. It felt good to hug her, its comfortable. Well, I guess I'm really in love.
