She was the light,
He was her shadow.But there was nothing else he'd want to be in the entire universe.
~~~She was the light. She was the sun. She was his everything. And every time he saw her beautiful smile, he was reminded of why he loved her so much. And his love for her only grew for each day that passed.
"And then i hope to get my own business and maybe get as famous as Gabriel's." She says, a big smile on her face. Legs swinging over the edge of the building. He nods. "Sounds amazing." He replies, a goofy smile plastered accross his face as he looks at her.
He loves listening to her. Escpecially when she talks about things she is passionate about. The smile on her face as she describes her ambitions in life. The way she talks about her dreams. And he always listens. To every word she says. He loves hearing her voice. It's so beautiful. And her laugh makes his heart ache.
He would confess, but he's scared. He's scared of rejection. He knows she doesn't feel the same. He knows she'd reject him if he did confess. And it could ruin a lot of things. Not only him, but their friendship he has worked so hard on gaining with her. It could ruin their partership as heroes, and protectors of Paris.
"This sunset is beautiful." Ladybug smiles. "Almost as beautiful as you..." Chat mumbles under his breath. "I feel so inspired." She smiles. She obviously didn't hear him.
She smiles and looks at him. "Okay, my turn." She says, flashing him A toothy grin. She looks around trying to come up with a question. "Hmm..." He smiles. She's adorable when she thinks. "What do you dislike the most about yourself?" He snaps out of his daydreaming and blinks. He thinks for a while. "Uhh... I dislike how fake i sometimes have to act in my civilian life so i don't ruin my father's reputation." She looks a little flabbergasted. She probably didn't excpect an answer like that. "Oh..." She responds with. "That's... Kind of sad." Chat shrugs. "Meh. You get used to it." He smiles. "Okay, my turn."
This had become a normal thing. They'd hang out once in a while. Just as friends. Without any akumas to fight. Without anything to worry about. Ladybug had been very sceptical to it at first, seeing as she didn't want to tell much about herself, but after time she had slowly but surely opned up. And Chat treasured every piece of information he got. The better he knew his lady, the happier he was.
So far he had learned that her favourite colours were light pink and lavender. Her favourite ice cream flavour is vanilla. She likes wet socks. (He was surprised at first. Not gonna lie.) When she was little she had played the sims 2, but got scared when her sim died and the grim reaper came and never touched the game again. She likes fashion, and hopes to be a designer when she grows up. And her favourite artist is Jagged Stone.
"What was the latest dream you had about?" Her face lights up and she giggles. "It was super wierd." He smirks. "Oh? Tell me." She takes a drep breath, trying to contain her laughter. "Okay, so you were in my room." Chat smirks, wiggeling his eyebrows under his mask. "In your room you say?" She laughs, playfully pushing his shoulder. "No. I promise it isn't a dirty dream." She laughs.
Her giggle is like music in his ears. Hearing her laugh makes his day so much better. And he wonders what he did to deserve to meet this godess.
"You were like... laying on the floor, sleeping. And then suddenly you just barked. I looked over at you, but you weren't there anymore. Just a dumb pink sheep with a mustache." She giggled. And then..."
Adrien lay on his bed. Arms and legs sprawled accross the sheets. "Hey, Plagg..." The cat themed semi god stopped munching on his stinky camembeet and looked at him. "Hm?" Adrien sighed before he spoke. "Do you thi--"
Knock, knock, knock
Adrien sat up. "Yes?" He replied. The door opned and Natalie came in with her eyes glued onto her tablet. "Your father wanted me to speak with you about your grades." She said, looking up from the tablet. Adrien raised an eyebrow at her. "My grades?" Natalie nodded. "They've dropped." She answered. "By half a grade." She added looking down at her tablet again. "He's mildly disappointed." Adrien grimaced. "It's just half a grade though. I'm still one of the best in class." He replied. "Enjoy your evening, Adrien." She says and walks out of his room. Closing the door behind her.
Adrien was comfused. Questions flooded his mind. Why was it such a big deal? Why couldn't he just say it himself? Why wasn't it good enough anyway?
So... Yeah... I think i have a plot somewhat fully planned now? Idk. Honestly I'm taking a break from writing cuz I'm lacking inspiration, so don't excpect a ton of updates.
Have a good day or afternoon or night wherever you are in the world! Stay beautiful!
