Chapter 9: Daddy's Back.

Rhys | POV

Shirts, check. Shoes, check. Underwear, check. Pants and Jeans, check. Jewelry, check. I zipped the last suitcase up and took it from the bed. I looked around my room as it was stripped clean. We had been back from Belize for all of two days and I am officially ready to go. Daddy hasnt said a word to anyone. We are all walking around on Pens and Needles since Kodi dropped that damn bomb on everyone at that table. I dont blame him, but fuck he was out of fucking line. Now Daddy thinks I was trying to hurt him. I had even decided to tell him before I was leaving. I grabbed my Louis Vuitton bag with the 7,345 dollars after buying my car to drive to Malibu and the down payment for my loft on the beach.

I exhaled and carried the suitcases out of the room and down the stairs. I sat it by the door and walked into the living room. Cam spotted me and as we stared at one another he gasped and covered his mouth and asked, "Is it time?" I agreed with what he said with a nod and he moved his nail kit and ran over in his oversized white tee and hugged me tightly.

"Im going to miss you, are you least going to wait til Daddy comes from work. He will be here any minute." He told me.

I replied, "Something tells me he doesnt want to see me. Promise me one thing Cam...only you could do this. Tell him I love him. He will respect it coming from you. Ill call once I get there." He nodded and wiped the tears from his eyes. The patio door opened and I seen my bestfriend. I walked over and Isak and I hugged. He slapped my ass and said, "Ugh, your ass about to make me cry. Dont come running back with your tail between your legs.
Facetime me the minute you get there. Love you, bitch."

"Love you too, Isak." I told him as Cam butted in, "I love you more, Dumbo." We all laughed. I exhaled and asked, "Wheres the kid?" They knew I was talking about Kodi. He thinks Im mad at him, he told Isak that last night. I aint mad at him at all, he did it out of hurt not anger. We ALL spoiled him and thats why he have the attitude he has. We walked down the hall and I spotted Kodi at the door with his Blue's Clue's pajamas. He gave me a sad puppy face and ran towards me. I hugged him and said, "I aint mad at you, Kod." He apologize a bunch of times before saying, "I love you so much and I just got off the phone with the Agent guys...she wanna meet with me tomorrow she got a lead in my mothers case." Isak and Cam joined the hug and I assured him, "See its going to all workout. Call me and tell me what happens. Brotherwives forever...now I have to go to beat this 6 PM traffic." They let me go and helped me with my things to my new car. We placed the shit in the trunk and just as we was laughing about something stupid we heard a horn behind us. It was Daddy. He parked on the outside pavement and told them three to go inside. They started walking off and I said, "Wait, Guys!" I ran over to him and dug into my backpocket and handed them all my goodbye letter. They all was blowing me kissed as they went back inside. My hands started to shake as I turned around to face the music. He walked over all sexy and shit. He looked into my eyes and pursed his lips.

"So this is it, huh? It was real. You have been stashing all my money to leave me." He said wayy off base.

"Nope. All this money I have is mine. I earned it and the way I did that is none of your concern. I wrote something for you to." I went into my front pocket and handed him the letter. He stuffed it in his pocket and chuckled, "So where are you going?"

"Malibu." I told him.

"Alright, bye." He snapped. I squinted and said, "Thats it. Nothing else."

"What else you want me to say? Your mind is clearly made up and this have been a long time coming...so have a nice life Rhys." He told me before leaning down and kissing my forehead.
