Eleanor sauntered through a spitting distance, picking up the diary.

" Uh Nora"  Alice pushed her wispy bangs in the back of the ear, snatching the diary from her hands, " Who was at the door? "

" The pizza guy. " Eleanor stretched her arms, yawning " Oh, I have placed it on the kitchen island. "

" Potassium  " Alice nodded

" What? " Eleanor stopped in her ways, wide eyed.

" I meant; okay." Alice sighed, rolling her eyes

Eleanor took two steps forward, frowning " What's this in your hand?"

" I..." She scratched her head " I am running late, time to hit the books " Alice gave her a slight smile before sprinting out of the room

"But..." Eleanor spun around, watching her steps " What about your Pizza? "

" I am not starving anymore, Eleanor! " Alice screamed at the distance

"But, I am so rumbly in my tumbly " Eleanor shrugged " Well, everything happens for 'very' good reason." she shook her head

Alice hurried into her room, chaining the door behind.

She dashed on the bed, lying on her back. Her hands reaching out for the diary.

" I hope it remains a top secret of..." She sighed, crossing her fingers"...me peeking in this mysterious diary" she tossed around, gulping, untying her hairs and finally opening the chamber of secrets.

" June 27, 1998 " She read, once again

"This morning, I sprung out of my bed when the alarm clock danced next to my ear. I was late and that shook me up.

I had to rush on one foot in order to pick up Helen from Airport. She was coming back from Miami after a whole wild week of seven days. Nah, don't get me wrong! a week definitely has seven days but they are equal to eons for me when she is else where.

After slipping on a blue floral dress and a black hat, I twirled around in front of the mirror in excitement but watching the time fly, I bounced down the stairs. Wearing my shades was the final touch added before heading out.

I waved at the taxi-cab passing by and sat in. Soon enough, I arrived at the airport. I stepped out, apprising the driver to wait there. Suddenly, my phone rang, literally making my heart to hop out.

" Mom! " I sighed

" You could have informed me when you were leaving " She seemed annoyed

" I swear, I will be home before they arrive. " I shut my eyes, biting my lower lip

" Julie, the deadline is 2:00 PM"

" Absolutely." I hung up

As I ran swiftly, I almost  bumped into someone. No... Apologies! I completely bumped into someone.

For a nano second, my world turned turtle. I could see stars, all around my head and I zoned out. It took me a moment to land back on earth.

" Oh heaven! Its not a happy beginning at all" My face was flushed red

We both bend down to pick up our belongings.

" Everything's Jake, young lady. I am sorry too. " The guy scoffed

I looked up to see a guy, maybe in his twenty five's, wearing an acid wash jeans with Flannel shirt and combat boots. He had caramel colored spiky hairs. I couldn't see his eye color since he was wearing shades but I noticed he had pale skin tone and not to forget his cleft chin.
