The Cabin in the Woods

[Chapter 1]

I slowly opened my eyes to the sun rudely shining in my eyes. I fell asleep on the pile of leaves covered in snow created by the snowy season.

I was so cold, hardly having the strangth to get up. I forced myself to move before I froze to death. I sat up and shaked my head side to side removing the hood from my head.

My ears popped up, I almost forgot I had them since I got used to them being there instead of my normal ones.

I looked down to then realize I was sitting on my tail. When I came to the realization I winced in pain because sitting on my tail wasn't the most comfortable thing, it felt like someone stepping on your toe.

I looked behind me to see lots of trees surrounding me. It felt so peaceful, like I belonged there. I decided to go deeper into the woods because there was really no were else for me to go at this point.

As I walked deeper in the woods. I found a old abandoned cabin. I hesitantly opened the door to see a fireplace with some old blankets and a sofa. It looks like someone's summer cabin as it also had a very convenient bathroom with working water and plumming.

(Hmmm, I wonder if that was the work of some editing magic...)

I grabbed the old blankets and put them on the sofa. It was really cold in the cabin so I grabbed some fire wood and tried to start a fire in the fireplace. I failed the first few times but I then got it started.

I went to the sofa and snuggled into the blankets. I could feel the warmth from the fire fill the whole room as I felt my eyes become heavier. I then felt my whole body become numb as I fell into a deep sleep.
