I woke up with the scent of lavender and... Honey? whatever it was I never wanted to smell anything else. I cracked my eyes open slowly to see Hinata sleeping soundly next to me on the grassy mountain, I smiled at the sight of the girl who stole my heart. "Hinata...wake up" I said drowsily pushing her arm, she groaned and slowly opened her eyes, "morning" she said stretching her arms out, she heaved a sigh and sat up. "we better pack so we don't miss the boat" she said climbing into the tent and zipping It up, I started to roll our sleeping bags up, she unzipped the tent with her pj's in her hands while wearing a black tank top and denim shorts, with a black fedora to top it off. "nice outfit" I complimented while walking into the tent to change, I came out with my usual black and orange hoodie with denim jeans.
I packed up the tent and returned it to the camp store while me and Hinata got another ride back to the hotel. "Hurry Naruto! we're gonna miss it!" Hinata yelled as she dragged me to he dock, we scampered into the boat catching out breath, "made it" I said collapsing onto a nearby chair "yeah" she said sitting on the floor, "eh? why the floor?" I asked, she shrugged "why not" she said cutely, "good point" I said with a small laugh as we both relaxed making our way back home.
/Hinata's house, still Naruto POV/
We walked up to Hinata's door step and unlocked the door. we both dropped our bags next to the door, I ran to the kitchen to raid the fridge while Hinata ran to her room to change. she came down wearing comfortable yoga pants and a purple tank top with her hair in a high ponytail. "raiding my fridge again I see" she said sitting on her counter top, "sorry" I said grinning, she smiled "I don't care too much, you come here everyday anyway" she said with a happy sigh, "right then" I said setting a whole bunch of food next to her on the counter, "what's this?" She asked as a smirk plastered on my face, she gave a skeptical smile.
I started making sandwiches with the weirdest ingredients and putting them all between two pieces of bread, Hinata was just smiling and looking at me like I was crazy. "DONE! I Call it the Naruto sandwich" I said holding one out in my hand for her to take, she hesitantly took it while I took a huge bite out of mine, "hmm good" I said even though it tasted horrible, she slowly took a small bite out of it and then Immediately regretted it. "bleh! gross" she gaged spitting it out into he trash can, "baka that was gross" she said lightly hitting my arm, "haha! that was great!" I laughed holding my stomach, she let out a 'humph' and eventually joined my laughing fit.
I decided to sleep there that night seeing as she had half my clothes there anyway since I come over all the time. "night Naruto" she said crawling into her bed, "night" I said climbing onto her couch across the room.
/school morning/
"Naruto we're late!!" she yelled running out the door while I followed behind, "I know!" I yelled. we made it to school right before the bell, "awe is my princess back" I heard a voice say, I hated that voice, "My sweet princess left for a whole week." Toneri.
"ugh not you again" I complained "oh it seems that Narudumb is back" he laughed and high-fived his 'friends' "funny" I said sarcastically, "Toneri, no" Hinata said with a sigh "your- your just so annoying" she said annoyed, "oh come on! you love me" he said like the snob he is "I think you need hearing aids and glasses" she sighed and shoved him away. "nice" I said impressed, she blushed and sat down "thanks" she muttered shyly.
suddenly the doors burst to the side. "NAARRUTTOOO" A voice yelled happily, 'oh no'. "I'M FINALLY BACK" Shinon yelled and hugged me while I groaned in annoyance, "N-Naruto. who's this?" Hinata asked curiously, "oh this is-" I was cut off by Shinon covering my mouth "His Girlfriend!" she said, I pried her hand off my mouth and sighed, "she's not my girlfriend she's just a close friend" I assured while Hinata seemed to relax a bit, "oh good" she said and smiled at Shinon, "and who is she?" Shinon asked looking at Hinata happily, "this is Hinata" I said cheerfully, "Hi, Hi" Hinata said with a small wave, "I think we're going to be good friends" Shinon said and then leaned in close to Hinata's ear and whispered something, leaving Hinata speechless while the bell rang but I just shrugged it off.
Hinata's POV]
"I think we're gong to be good friends" Shinon said and then leaned close to my ear, "I swear if you steal him from me your going to get one heck of a beating" she said like a demon and then walked away like nothing happened. the bell rang but I was just frozen in my seat, "Hinata, class is starting" Naruto said nudging me, I nodded and drew my attention to the board.
after class me and Naruto made our way to our lockers and got our lunchboxes. We walked out to the cherry blossom tree's that were behind the school, "here, some donuts for you" I said handing him two donuts from my lunch box, "oh my cheezits your amazing" he said basically inhaling them. while we talked we were interrupted by a loud scream "Naruto!!!" Shinon yelled running toward us with her light blonde hair bouncing off her, "eh, hey Shinon" Naruto said a bit sadly, I was upset too, she ruined our talk!
"Naruto let's go on a date~" she chirped while clinging onto his arm, "eh, huh, you see... I already promised Hinata we'd go on a date" he said pulling me into his arms "just go with it" he whispered keeping his gaze on Shinon, "w-what!" she screeched, "b-but Naruto belongs to me" she whined and stomped off back into the school. "Sorry about that" he said letting go of me while I felt heat rushing through my face "y-yeah" I stuttered as we finished our lunch.
as we were walking to our next class Naruto started thinking, "hey! this means we have to go on a real date" he said happily
