7. Ive Moved On... Maybe

Jessica's Pov

I didnt say anything to respond for a while. I mean. I was a little shocked to be honest. But. Chris is really attractive an he has been super nice to me the past week. But. I learned my mistake about dating people when you just met them.

"Chris. I like you. Yes. A lot actually. But. I just think its to sudden. I barley met you. How do i know your not gonna cheat on me like Harry did. Or. Hurt me. I just. Am kinda scared to be honest at the moment."

"Jessica." He said taking my hand," i promise you. I wont dare hurt you. You don't have to worry about a thing. I would never cheat on you."

I thought for a minute and made my choice.

"In that case. If you really promise. Yes. I will go out with you."

Harrys POV

My heart sank to my stomach and tears prickled in my eyes. I felt anger towards the boy. But i felt. Completely numb towards Jess.

I hear them laughing in a short period of time. I go to my room and begin to throw stuff. My lamps. Knocking down my tv. To get my frustration out really.

"Harry! What are you doing!" Liam screams at me and i stop. And slowly fall to the ground and cry.

"Mate. What happened?" He says walking to me and squatting down.

"Jess. Jessica happened. I love her still. Yet she can move on like nothing." I say

"She is with that Chris guy huh?" He said rubbing my back.

I slowly nodded and continued to cry.

If she can move on. I can to.

Jessica's POV

*1 Week Later*

I was on the couch with Niall eating, like we do when Harry isnt here so

I can get out of my room actually.

The door swings open and it hits the wall loudly. Niall and I turn around from the couch to see who was at the door.

It was Harry.

"Oh. I um. Better get to my room." I said setting the bag of chips to the side and walking up the stairs.

If your wondering. This is how it is actually. All the time I'm out of my room and Harry comes in.

I go to my room. And silently close the door. My phone buzzes and i look to the direction its coming in.

•Chris•

I walk over and answer it

"Hello?"

"Hi Lycia. Do you think i can come over?"

"One. Jessica. Tw-" he cut my off

"BUT I LIKE LYCIAAAA." He wines.

"Whatever..." The name has started to rub off on me i guess a little. I still like Jessica more.

"Two. Sure."

He hang up and i get changed into conferrable clothes.

There's a knock on the door.

"Jess.." It was Harry. "Can. Can we talk?"

I just walk and open the door and let him in.

"Jess we have to stop doing this. We both know we still like each other."

He was completely right. I like Chris. But i sometimes felt like he was just going to be a rebound to me. Sadly.

"Harry. We honestly need to give it sometime. It's not gonna be fixed so easily. You cheated. As in CHEATED. Where you went to someone else. That. Hurts. I rather be with Chris so he can make me happy while I get over this."

"Oh so I'm just a rebound then?" I hear a voice come from the door.

Oh fuck.

Niall's POV

I was left alone to eat you my self. Until we ran out of food. So i had to make a quick run to the store. I hope Jess will be ok tho.

*Driving to store*

My phone starts to buzz once i started driving. I pulled over and reached for my phone.

•Matt•

I answer the phone

"Hello?"

"Sup man! I havent talked to you in forever." He almost screams to the phone.

"I know! How's Magcon and your life?"

"My life has been pretty good thanks to Magcon actually. Magcon is coming to Montana! That means i can get to see you guys!"

"Oh yay! Ill text you the address. We can all meet up at Harrys."

We had a nice conversation on the phone actually. It was nice to talk to Matt all the time. And if your wondering. Yep. Its Matthew Espinosa. From Magcon.

I got to the store and bought chips, sodas, cake, pizza, and donuts. I know me and Lycia eat a lot plus the other people left over.

Once i get home i unload everything from the car and put it in the kitchen. Then i heard someone running down the stairs crying. It was Jess.

"Jess. Jess calm down."

"Help me. Up stairs. Please."

Without any second thoughts we ran up there and thats when i heard Harry grunting and punching.

"HARRY STOP" i screamed at the door.

He was on top of Chris and he was punching him in the face. He stopped and looked up at Jess. Not me. Then stopped and got off of him. She ran over to Chris as he was moaning in pain and started shaking and asking if he was ok various times.

Harry ran out of the door in panic.

Harrys POV

I was just trying to help her. If i didnt do that they would still be fighting.

He got all mad about he was a rebound and even if he was he should be happy about being with Jess. She is so lovely. Even if its not real. Just knowin she is yours. I would take that any day.

"Harry."
