*ARIZONAS POV*

Me and hayes were having a moment. It was nice but I couldn't have it happen right now. It would be awkward the rest of the time.

"So how much longer until your house?" I said breaking the about-to-kiss. "Umm about 5 minutes." "Okay." We started to walk more. It was kind of awkward but then Hayes spoke. "Your really good at basketball Arizona." "Thanks you to Grier."

*HAYES POV*

"Thanks you to Grier." She said playfully hitting me. It was awkward but not as awkward as before. I liked Arizona. A lot. "Were here." She looked up at my big house. "Woah."

*ARIZONAS POV*

His house was huge! He had a nice hoop. He grabbed the basketball. "First one to 40 wins." "Your on Grier." I said. I was ready to play. But then Elizabeth came out. "Hayes you need to- Oooh who is this? You didn't introduce me hayes." "Mom- Arizona , Arizona- my mom Elizabeth." "Nice to meet you Mrs.Grier." "Oh please call me Elizabeth." "Okay."

She walked out. Before she shut the door she said " I'm making cookies now come in when your ready." " k mom." She shut the door. "Okay you ready." Hayes asked me. "Yes! I get ball first." Hayes checked it with me. We were playing. The score was back and forth. I went for the layup but then hayes came up and blocked it. "No fair!" "Totally fair." Hayes said. I took his jacket off. "Okay then." I said competitively.

It was his ball. He went for the three and "STUFFED." I screamed. "Okay okay Arizona you win." He said putting his hands up like he was surrendering. I bent down to grab my phone when he grabbed it and ran. "HAYES! GIVE ME MY PHONE." "GONNA HAVE TO CATCH ME FIRST ADAMS." "THAT CAN BE ARRANGED."

I ran after him and tackled him. I grabbed my phone. We went inside to his house for cookies. Nash came downstairs "hayes wanna-ooh Hayes is this your girlfriend?" Hayes blushed. "No." He said. " hi I'm Arizona nice to meet you Nash." "Yeah nice to meet you too!" Hayes grabbed a cookie off the table.

*HAYES POV*

That was so embarrassing. I can't believe it! I wish she was my girlfriend. I saw Arizona on her phone. Texting. I figured it was her mom. "Hey mom did you know that Arizona's mom is Gianna Adams?" "Oh! I thought she looked familiar. Your mom and I go way back. I still text her you know." "Haha yeah I know." Arizona said.

She was so perfect. Her long brown hair. Her butterscotch looking eyes. Her tan skin. Perfect smile. I wanted her. I wanted Arizona Lynn Adams to be my girlfriend. And I will make that happen.
