I stand, drenched in sweat.  Adrenaline courses through my veins. Small hairs stand on end in a frenzy all over my body. Where was I? Snow blankets the cold earth in thick quilts atop each other. The tall  trees tower over me in jagged angles, casting sharp misshapen shadows across the quiet white snow. I'm overwhelmed in uncontrollable tremors, making my teeth chatter rapidly. Hot tears fill my eyes, stinging them with every blink. Amongst all these small white snowflakes fall in unison chilling me to the bone. Big smoke clouds left my mouth. Inhale exhale, inhale exhale. A deep numbing set in,enabling me to move. What's happening?

Don't move. The voice reverberated again and again in my head. Who was that? I craned my neck to see nothing but bare trees. Is this a dream? A dark figure approached me. Somehow dodging all the awkward placed trees and their sharp branches. The snowflakes are falling harder now, blurring my vision. Now the strange figure is mere feet away from me. I tried to scream but only a rasped screeches  came out. A single grey wisp crept behind the figure. Like smoke it trailed and moved smoothly through the frigid winter air. It soon circled itself toward me. The figure pulled a single blade out of its case. Liquid blue under the menacing moonlight. Dark cobalt rippled along the blade. Enticing.. Mesmerizing.. It cut through the air without hesitation. The trance was broken and the smoke was gone; feeling regained in my legs. I ran. Fast. Run faster.  Strong wisps of grey encircled me. Go.

My legs pounded harder across the snowy endeavor. The snow flakes left faint scratches   across my face. The grey wisps came strong, turning into a immeasurable heap of grey tumbling over itself to catch up with me. What does it want with me? Don't think. Just run. There. The voice again. I stopped. The heap of grey rushed past me. I could smell death. The putrid essence strangles me and down to my knees. The world closed in around me. My last sight was the dark figure, his eyes. They were cobalt blue.
