Oh my gosh I couldn't believe he was asking me out. As the words came out of his mouth "Will you go out with me ". I slowly started to melt as each word slowly came out this couldn't be true. As I was about to reply my "yes". I heard my loud alarm clock go off playing the slow jazz melody that my mom had picked out last week.

As I was getting out of the bed I glanced at the time to see 7:20 A.M no not again I thought coach Meek is going to kill me for being late on an exam day again. This is going to be the second time this week due to stupid pre ap homework in physics. As I rush to my closet I pick out the cutest top I had which was my Victoria Secret sweater that I had purchased last weekend at the mall.

After I rush and put on my clothes . I hop inside my hot pink bug and drive quickly to school . As I arrive I hear the tardy bell ring . So I start running down the long hallways towards room A113.

As soon as I walk in the room all eyes came from there papers to meet my face. I could fill it my face was beginning to turn red when Mr. Meek ushered me into the class room and told me to take my seat ,and start my exam. The whole time during the exam all I could think about was how mad Mr. Meek was at me.

As soon as the class was over I was moving fast out of the class I think I was moving a little to fast when I notice that I had bumped into someone , and not just anyone it was Andrew Johnson. The crush of my life the quarterback of the football team, and the love of my imaginary life. I was shocked I didn't know what to say.

Just as I was about to say im sorry, he quickly cuts me off with his sweet deep voice saying "Im sorry for being in your way".While picking up my papers,and giving me a grin before he walked off. As he was walking off I could feel my heart beating faster and faster, but that little minute of hevean stops when my friends come next to me .

Jamie, Kayla , and Holly all catch my attention by saying my name all at once

Jamie:"Please don't tell me you were just talking to lover boy Andrew".

Me: "No I had bumped into him like an idiot, and he help me pick up my papers"."Gosh why am I such a dummy"?

Holly:"is that a trick question"? she asked while laughing

Kayla: " Your not dumb Nicole, if I were you after he picked them up I would have dropped them again just to talk to him even more with his yummy looking self ".

After kaylas perverted comment we all laugh and start our journey to cafeteria. I could tell this day was already going to be unusual then others.

At our school (Golden-ridge high school) the cafeteria or the cafe was considered as the click part of the day for everyone. Meaning this was the part where you get to hang out with your friends that you haven't seen in awhile, or just hang out by yourself. For me this was the part of the day where I can actually relax and take a break from all the frustrating school work, and also hang out with my best friends.

As we make our way through the long lunch line I spot my ex John messing with some girl named Wendy . The same john that wants every girls number, and I use to date . I feel like it has been years since we have broken up , but in reality it has only been 2 months since the tragic break up. I mean it wasnt like he cheated or anything, just me just stupid Nicole not letting him kiss me. I know I know what your thinking why didnt I ,well I have this deal with myself that I wouldn't kiss anyone or let them kiss me until I feel really for sure that the relationship would last forever. I know what it sounds like pretty pathetic huh. Just by thinking of this sad memory makes me want to run away and hide but I keep everything together.

Until Kayla ushers us to a table with all the jocks. Me personally wasn't really comfortable sitting there, but kayla just started dating the new wide receiver ( Tyler Davis) that was going to be our new seats for a while. One thing that made me feel really uncomfortable with sitting there was Andrew always sat there which was really awkward for me.

But today was the most awkward out of all days.

Tyler: " man I have never been with a girl that has never kissed anyone before. "How about you Andrew"?

Andrew:" Nah man me either while he what he was saying this turns, and looks great in the eyes and ask" Have you ever kissed anyone Nicole"? My face turns red as the words come out of his mouth I didn't know what to say again !I hated so much being put on the spot especially by guys.

I I turned and answer the question with a "yes" . Wait what yes I can't believe I just lied. As soon as the words left my mouth my friends turned and made eye contact with me. They had this confused look on their faces, but before anyone could say anything the lunch Bell rung and it was time to go to third period, thank God I thought to myself.
