~Katie~

I glanced over at my best friend, Dylan. Right now, he was off flirting with some curvy blonde girl, and I was over here. An ugly, flat, loser. I sighed, taking another sip of my soda. Don't get me wrong, I love Dylan, but I just wish he could understand how I feel. But he can't, because he's popular and I'm not. That's just how it is. If Nick were here, he'd understand. At least I hope he would. He's been getting distant lately. Nick is my boyfriend, three years and counting.

Someone slid into the seat next to me, but I was too busy throwing a pity party for myself to care.

"Hey," Someone said. I jumped. I glanced over at the girl next to me and my eyes widened. She was the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen, with a waterfall of flowing caramel locks and glowing golden skin. Her bright blue eyes were crystal clear, like the ocean, and her lips were like rose petals. I opened my mouth to respond, but all that came out was a small croak. Heat crept up my face and I looked down at my knees.

She chuckled softly.

"I'm Emma." She held out her hand. I hesitated, but then took her hand. It was soft and warm. She held on for a little longer than necessary, but finally let go. The strapless, lacy red dress she wore complimented her curvaceous body, making me feel as though I was in a saggy, shapeless sack.

"I thought you looked lonely over here all by yourself. Did you come with anyone?" She asked, a hint of...was that jealousy in her voice? No, it couldn't be. Why would she be jealous?

"Uh...yeah, I did come with someone." I turned and pointed to Dylan. "I came with my friend, Dylan." She smiled and nodded.

"You guys seem to be having a lot of fun...together." She said, her eyes sparkling with laughter. I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah, well. He's sort of a player." I told her, finishing off my drink. I don't know why, but I wanted to stay and talk to this girl, so I waved over the bartender and ordered another soda.

Emma studied Dylan. "He seems like it." She said. Then she turned to me. "Hey, I'm having a party at my house on Friday, and I was wondering if you wanted to come?" She asked hopefully. "You can bring anyone you like." She added. My heart sped up.

"Uh, sure. Yeah, I'll come." I stared into my drink.

Emma smiled brightly.

"Great. Oh, I forgot to ask your name." She said.

"Katie." I replied. I held my phone out to her. "Can you put your number in my phone so you can send me the address?" I asked shyly. Her tinkling laugh filled my heart and I sat up a little straighter.

"Yeah." She took my phone, her fingers lingering on mine. She quickly typed her number into my phone. I took my phone back and slipped it into my back pocket. I slid off my stool and turned to her.

"Well, I need to go." She dropped off her stool too.

"Let me walk you out." She offered. I shrugged. I turned and she followed me out the door. I reached the car and turned to her.

"Well, here it is. Bye." I said awkwardly. She stared hard at me, it seemed like she was trying to decide something. Suddenly, she had pushed me up against the side of the car, pressing her body to mine. Her leg was wedged in between mine, and her arms caged me on both sides. Her lips brushed over mine, and then she nibbled on my bottom lip, tugging it gently. An airy moan slid past my lips and she growled in response, her hand sliding up my side. She caught my lips with hers, slipping her tongue past my lips.

I fumbled with the handle of the car door and finally got it open. She pushed me into the car and fell on top of me, her ragged breathing mixed with mine. She attacked my neck, nipping, licking, sucking and kissing her way down to my chest and her hand slid inside my shirt. I moaned again, louder, and tilted my head to give her better access, when we heard a voice.

"Katie?" Dylan. We froze. I slowly came back to my senses and I felt heat creep up my neck as I lay there under her, mortified. She slowly slid off me and glanced into my eyes.

"See you on Friday." She whispered, and disappeared around the side of the car. I slowly sat up, my hand going to my lips. I could feel that they were swollen from her kisses. I sat there, dazed for a moment, before I shook my head, blinked, and stepped out of the car.

"Over here, Dylan!" I called. He glanced over and a relieved look passed over his face.

"I saw you leave and came to check if yuh were ok." He said. I nodded.

"I'm fine." I said. He nodded and moved over, opening the car door. He got in and closed it behind him. I slowly got back in and starting the car, driving us back to our apartment.

A/N: Howdy doody! Haha sorry that just reminds me of poop.

Ok back on subject! How do you like it so far? Do you like the characters? Who do you like...the MOST?
