It had been nearly a week since Gracie let Jason take the spare be in Sapphire's room. Both Jason and Sapphire loved their time together and soon became inseparable. They were so lucky that they never got separated..

"Hey Sapphire..?" Jason asked quietly looking at his friend as they walked to the lounge. "Yeah, Jason? What is it?" Sapphire looked at her friend smiling softly. Jason rubbed the back of his neck nervously causing Sapphire to tilt her head a little waiting for him to speak up. "Do..Do you think we will stay together..? It's very rare for friends to stay together after getting.." Sapphire shook her head in a bit of disbelief and sighed.

"Jason, don't worry! We'll always be together until we die!" Sapphire half-shouted at him causing Jason to laugh as he opened the lounge door. Sapphire smiled brightly for making her friend laugh after such a dark thought. Sapphire walked in and said goodbye to Jason before she walked into the back of the lounge to the bookshelves so she could read. Jason stayed towards the doors, since there wasn't so may kids standing by them.

After about an hour of waiting in the lounge a couple walked into the lounge with Gracie next to them.

"So, Mr and Mrs Angel you'll be given an hour or so to 'interview' the children and decide who you'll be giving a new family to." Gracie smiled at the couple as they nodded and then she left them to talk to the children.

The woman was stunning, her pale skin, blue eyes and mostly  white hair made all the children question if what they were seeing was real. Her husband was almost the opposite of her in appearance. He was a little taller than the woman, had pitch black hair which covered his right eye and had a few piercings. He wore a red sweater with a skull on it and the words "Death's Angel" underneath the skull.

The couple walked around and talked to a few of the children, all while Sapphire watched from the back. She always watched to adopters interview the other children. She never got to be interviewed since she was one of the oldest children in the orphanage.

Azazel looked over to his wife, Crystal talking to a sky blonde boy over by the doors. He quickly ended his interview with a girl and walked over to his wife sighing. Crystal looked up at Azazel and smiled lightly. "What's the matter honey? Can't decide?" Crystal chuckled as Azazel shook  his head. "No. Too many of them. Not one is interesting to me yet." Crystal shook her head. "Well Azazel this is Jason." The boy looked at Azazel, then looked down and waved at him which made Azazel laugh a little.

"Well, Jason darling we are going to go talk to some of the other children now. It was a pleasure meeting you." Crystal said holding her hand out towards Jason which he shook and nodded slightly. Crystal looked at her husband and walked over towards him. "So are we done here? Have you picked one you wanted to adopt Crystal?" Crystal slapped Azazel and sighed. "They are HUMAN honey. Not animals. And we should talk to a few other children first." Azazel just nodded and walked towards the back of the lounge looking to see if there was a kid that interested him at all.  He saw a girl with long red hair who was sitting all alone and reading a book called 'The magics of the hidden kingdom'. He walked over towards her but was stopped by a girl with short blonde hair.

"Sir, you wouldn't want to go talk to her. She doesn't get along with anyone here and is a freak! I'm sure I can be a much better daughter then her!" The girl with blonde hair said loud enough for the red haired girl could hear which the girl was given a glare from the girl reading. Azazel shook his head. "I mean hey, she's smart enough to read and she kept her cool while you insulted her. I think she is worth talking to unlike a brat like you. Goodbye kid." Azazel walked over to the red haired girl and knelt down.

"So kiddo, put the book down for a minute and tell me about yourself." Azazel said calmly and the girl put the book down. Azazel noticed her bulky necklace right away. "My name is Sapphire, I'm 15 and I've been here since I was 4. My best friend, and only friend at the time, had gotten adopted a few months back and we have matching necklaces. I'm probably the oldest one in the place. I like to read about 'fantasy worlds' and what not. Do you need to know more?" The girl, Sapphire looked Azazel in his eyes which made  him smile. He messed up her hair a bit and stood up. "No thanks kid-" "Sapphire." He chuckled "No thanks Sapphire. Well I'll see you later." With that, Azazel walked away from Sapphire and over to his wife and Gracie.

After a few minutes Azazel and Crystal walked  back into the lounge and looked around. Sapphire and Jason were talking at the back by the bookshelves  about the book Sapphire was reading. "So like.. There is said to be a old castle and city where the 'monsters' lived.. They weren't monsters though they aren't actual monsters they just are like human hybrids or something?" Jason smiled at Sapphire, seeing how interested they both were on the topic of the book. "Excuse me kiddos?" A voice said behind the children causing them to jump at the sound of the voice.  The turned around to see Crystal and Azazel standing there. Jason hid behind Sapphire once he sees them which causes both Crystal and Azazel to chuckle. Azazel knells down to face the two of them. "Well come on you two, we don't got all day now."
