Marinette bit her lip as she put her hair down, brushing her hair out then pulling clothes out of her closet. She placed them on his lap, Adrien looking up at her as she softly smiled at him. "I took these from your house in case you stayed over. Go take a shower and calm down, wash the gel out." Adrien nodded, standing up and walking to her bathroom and taking a shower as Marinette changed into her pajamas.

Adrien bit his lip as Marinette walked back into her room, hot chocolate sitting on a tray with strawberries in a glass bowl in between the blue and grey mugs. She smiled at him, sitting next to him on her bed, handing him a mug as she took a sip of hers. "It's a little hot, so be careful," he hummed, taking a sip them holding the mug in his hands, slowly starting to burn. They stayed quiet for a moment, listening to the cars outside her room as they drove, the sounds of crickets joining the cars as moonlight and Marinettes desk lamp eliminated her room, both falling into a silence until it suffocated Marinette and the question boiling in her throat came tumbling out. "Adrien...are you suicidal?"

He looked at her for a moment, studying her scared eyes and her tensed demeanor. He looked down at his mug, taking another sip then resting the mug on his lap in between his hands. "Sometimes."

"Have you thought about how you would kill yourself?" She was scared for the answer.

Adrien bit his lip. "Yeah."

"How would you do it?"

He was quiet. "Crashing into the oak tree."

"Why there?" Marinette looked at him as he took another sip of the hot chocolate that burned his tongue.

"It's...It's where my Mother told my Father she was pregnant with me. End it where I began." He bit his tongue. If he said any more he knew she would send him away.

Marinette set her mug down, wrapping her arms around his neck and bringing him close, digging her head into his neck as tears fell from her eyes. "P-Please don't do anything. I-I don't know what I would do without you Adrien. I love you."

"I love you too."

Marinette held his head in her hands, kissing his forehead and meeting his eyes. "Adrien promise me, you won't do anything to hurt or end your life, please." Marinette was begging, his eyes downcast to his mug.

"I can't promise anything Marinette. You don't even know why I'm like this." Marinette shook her head.

"You were molested, your Dad left, your mother doesn't believe in you, your girlfriend cheated on you and there's probably more I don't know about but just knowing that I should have known you were depressed or stressed or whatever. I love you and I don't want you to die. You may want to, but I don't want you too. I will help you, whether it's telling someone or not, a mad boyfriend is better then a dead one."

Adrien brought his head onto Marinettes shoulder, digging his head in and kissing it softly. "Thank you Mari."

"Thank you for what?"

"Actually caring." Adriens voice was soft, broken. She never wanted to hear it again.

They sat on Marinettes floor, half past ten pm as Marinette played her ukulele that she hasn't played in three years. Adrien fed her another strawberry, Marinette giggling as she bit into it, him eating the rest of it. "Sing me something." Adrien held his wrist to his lips, chewing on the strawberry.

"What do you want me to sing?" Marinette brought her head up, looking in his eyes.

"The Girl, City and Colour." Adiren laughed, Marinette giggling.

"I only remember a few lyrics," Adrien nodded, Marinette beginning to play it on the ukulele. "Well I'm off chasing my own dreams, and sailing around the world, please know that I'm yours to keep my beautiful girl. When you cry, a piece of my heart dies, knowing that I may have been the cause. If you were to leave fulfill someone else's dreams I think I might totally be lost."

Adrien smiled at Marinette as she looked up, feeding her another strawberry as she put the useless down and kissed his cheek, leaving a small red stain he was going to leave on. She giggled, drinking some of her hot chocolate. She looked at her clock on her nightstand, then back at Adrien as he bit into another strawberry.

"Adrien," her voice was soft. "How long have you been depressed?"

Adrien chewed on his cheek, taking a sip of his hot chocolate. "A while I guess. I-I really don't want to talk about it. Can we just focus on our future?"

"Sure," Marinette softly smiled. "What do you want to do with the money?"

Adrien shrugged his shoulders. "I think we should put it in a bank account so we're not wasting it," Marinette nodded, the two falling silent. "I think we should leave tonight for Paris."

"Why tonight?"

"I want to restart as soon as possible." Adrien shrugged his shoulders, Marinette nodding and walking to her closet, packing up a few pairs of clothes and other essentials before kissing Adriens cheek.

"Let's go to your place, get your things then restart."

Adrien drove down the highway, Marinette asleep in the passenger seat as he drove. It was three am, and he's been driving since eleven. He watched the world go by, looking over at Marinette as small snores escaped. He could only smile. They left their hot chocolates and strawberries at Marinettes, Adrien leaving a simple note at his place reading,

I'm sorry
