I knew they couldn't be inside the house because there was no noise inside either. Maybe they had walked somewhere? Maybe to go out to eat? Or to the store? I had thought to myself. I had always overthought things but yet almost every other 16 year old does too. I always thought about the worst or the "what ifs" but I'm not sure why. I mean I don't mean to come off negative, it's just well my parents call it "a stage", but who knows.

3 hours went by and the boys were still not back. I was still home alone sitting in my bed until it hit me how long they had been gone for.

"Ding Dong" the doorbell screamed to let me know someone was at the door. I ran down stairs to see who it was. Peeking out the window I saw Hayes. He seemed worries. I opened the door to let him in and see what was going on.

Hayes:"There was *tries to catch his breath* a bunch *tries to breath again* of boys trying to pat us down for anything we had."

Me:"Well where's Nash and Cameron?"

Hayes:"They told me to run while I could and tell you to call 911 right when I told you this."

Me:*picks up my phone and calls. "Hello? I need help my brother and his friend need your help one or else they are going to get hurt."

911:"And where is this happening?"

I passed the phone to Hayes tears running down my face.

Hayes told the woman all of the information that was needed and they were on their way to help. God I prayed. I prayed so much that everything would be ok. As my mother walked through the door I could tell see knew something was wrong. Me and Hayes looked at each other not knowing what to say. Until Hayes said it and the next thing I knew was I was watching my mother run to her car dragging us along. Tears running down all of our faces we made it to where everything went down. The police had the restaurant shut down and 6 boys were pinned to a cop car. With the fear in Hayes eyes I could tell that those boys were them.

One of the police men came up to us after talking to someone by the ambulance. I didn't know if I wanted to hear anything or not. For once I wasn't thinking about how dreamy Cameron was but if he was even alive and also my brother.

Police officer:"Excuse me, are you the Grier family?"

We all nodded our heads with not a single word being spit out.

Police officer:"Well, your boy and his friend are safe and are in good condition to be taken home."
