Chapter 1

Ashleigh's POV

I finished with a soft note as Naveena rounded up the drum beat and Ross played her last few remaining notes.

Once the song was finished, I shouted into the microphone. "And that's it. The shows over folks! Thank you London for being such a great crowd!!!" I heard screams from fanboys and fangirls, as I made my way off the stage. I expected to see Taylah and Simran backstage, but I only saw Taylah.

"OMG Ashie! Loved the performance!" she said as she gave me a hug. "Thanks, Tay! Where's Simi?" I asked. "Oh yeah, I wanted to tell you, Simon Cowell's here, with One Direction. He's talking to Simran right now, said he wanted to see you once the show was done." She told me.

"Where is he right now?" I asked her, curious to know what he wanted. She told me he was in my backstage lounge room, which I had gotten made a year ago. I made my way through the maze of corridors, and walked into the room.

"Hey guys, wassup?" I asked. "Ah, Ashleigh Jenners (A/N Surname changed for security purposes) perfect timing, come on in." said Simon. I looked around the room, then sat down nex to Simran. 

"What's going on?" I asked. That was when Simran told me. "Ash, Simon wants us to go on tour with One Direction" she said. I looked around. "Can I think about it first?" I asked Simon. "Sure, take your time", he replied. And with that, him and the boys left. Wow, that was big.

My friends and I discussed whether I should go or not, while Simran read the contract and gave us the detail." Right, it says that the tour is one and a half years long, around the world, um, right, and it says that Naveena Ashton, Taylah Bligson, Ross Hoarings, Amy Brunos and Simran Davis are to accompany Ashleigh Jenners on this trip." Simran told us. "I think you should do it, this trip sounds like fun" Ross suggested.

The next morning, I woke up, ready with the answer. I got out of bed, got ready for the day, and walked next door to Simran's apartment, where the rest of the girls were. "Oh wow! Sleeping Beauty finally awakes!" Naveena said jokingly. "Yeah yeah whatever, I have the answer." I told them. "So, what's it gonna be?" Amy asked me, while Simran starts looking in her hand bag for the contract papers. "I'll do it!" I told them. They all semmed pretty happy. Simran handed me the papers and a pen, and told me where to sign. I skim read through the papers, signed them, and handed them to Simran.

"Kay guys, I'll be home soon, just gonna drop these papers off at Simon's office be back in a sec." Simran said, obviously wanting to get things done right away. "Wait I'll come with you, I want breakfast at Nando's" I stopped her. We all ended up going, and after dropping off the papers we went to the nearest Nando's we could find.

We were all just eating, enjoying a comfortable silence, 'till I saw these 5 boys walk upto us in hoodies and sunglasses. They seemed suspicious to me, and I got scared. Amy, being the confident and brave one, stood up to match their height, and asked them, in a protective way, "Who are you, and what do you want?" she asked them, looking pretty scary.

Wow, with that girl around, I didn't need a bodyguard. "Woah relax, its only us!" the tallest one of them said, and they cautiously removed their hoodies and sunshades to reveal none other than One Direction. I sighed with relief.

"We heard you agreed to this trip, and saw you sitting in the same Nando's as us, so we thought we'd come over, ya know, get to know you girls better", said Liam. They sat down with us, and we chatted forr the rest of the morning. It was around 3:30 when we realised the trip was only one week ahead, and we hadn't packed yet. We said goodbye to the boys, and hurried home to packing.

***One week later, the day the tour starts***

I told the Taxi driver, yet another time, to please hurry up.  The traffic was thick and we were already lated. Finally, the signal went green, allowing us to move. About 10 minutes later, Simran handed the taxi driver the money, and we ran into the airport. We checked in, and got to Gate 6 as our boarding pass had instucted us to do, and we saw the boys there waiting. We then all went together and boarded the flight. I found my seat, to find myself sitting next to Niall. I gave him a smile, which he returned. I put my luggage away, sat down, put my phone on Airplane Mode, took out my iPod, and listening to the music, I fell into a deep sleep.
