The beginning

"Your Highness, His majesty wants to see you" The servant bowed poliety.

He was once a prince of goryeo. Nothing much,he's the only son in the royal family so he ended up having the tittle of the 'Crown prince'.

The King motioned the servant to give them some privacy and the servant did as told so."Son, I know you may not like this but...i had to tell you this soon, "

"What is it? " He raised his eyebrows,admiring his drawing without looking at his father. The drawing was perfectly drawn. It was about the first day he met her. The day he thought he was going to be killed by some unknown person but this girl appeared just in the right time saving him.

"You've been arranged to marry Princess Jung," Just as he heard those words coming out from his father's mouth his drawing fell onto the ground.  "A w-what??  Marriage??  Princess Jung?  Jung.So.Rim??" He used to fell in love with her before but not until when he saw her making out with her step brother. Ever since that day, he wished that he never meet her.

"W-why? Why her?? " he questioned his father. "The 2 kingdoms are not in a good term so we decided it's better for you to marry the princess to create peace and harmony between the two nations,this is for your own good too so behave, " his father, the king said.  "Can't i just decide who to be my first wife? Why must it be her-" his sentence was cut off by his father.  "Your mother agrees to it too. Even her and her parents.  Yet, you're the only one objecting the decision," The king tried to hold his anger.

Thoughts and thoughts passed by his mind. His evil step mother. Whom accuatlly secretly killed his own mother back in 9 years ago. She was once one of the court lady that caught his majesty's sight.  All this long no one knows that his mother was killed by the evil court lady who put a poison in her tea. If the crown prince told his father, he wouldn't believe him at all. 

Even if the king was ruling the nation,it seems more like the evil queen was the one. The king will just agree and believe whatever that comes out from the evil queen's mouth. 

"He'd probably kill his own son just to have that queen of his," The crown prince thought. He went outside of the palace, going to his lover who was patiently waiting for him under the cherry blossom tree. 

"How much do you miss me? "he smirked leaning close to her face.  A slight red raised to her cheek causing her to looked away. "I don't know, your highness" she smiled playfully.  "Whatt??  You don't know?  I'm offended, " he acted sad.  She quickly take a peek on his cheek,"Because it is countless for me. "

"I hate you," he smiled pinching the tip of her nose and planted a soft kiss her forehead.

While at the Queen's headquarters

"Your majesty, His highness the crown prince was seen with a lady this morning," the spy said.  "Young lady huh? Interesting.. that the crown prince who was going to marry
the princess soon is sneaking out to meet another woman. I'm well-shocked," The queen smirked.  "Tell them to bring that wench over here, " she ordered the guards .

Just as the crown prince left, the guards quickly placed a cloth on her mouth and took her to the Queen.

"Do you know why you are here, Child? " she smirked,ordering the guards to put her to the ground.
"N-no, your m-majesty...." she stammered giving her a deep bow. "Oh, there's no need for you to panic. Relax, you're not going get executed not now, " she lift up the girl's chin.  "I see why the crown prince sneak out to see you knowing that he's getting marry to Princess Jung,soon,"
