(written in momo's pov because i need a change of pace)

early in the morning, nayeon woke up the whole dorm because she had attempted to cook breakfast for us. sadly, nayeon isn't a very good cook, so i ended up dragging her out to buy ready-made food for the other members.

said girl was not so happy about the outing. "momo. seriously, i was doing fine! i can cook breakfast!"

"nayeon, seriously? last time we let you cook something you almost chopped off your entire finger. don't give me that."

"i bet (y/n) is a great cook, isn't she..?" she mumbled.

"nayeon, don't," i continued walking ahead of her. she stopped on the pavement. "nayeon, come on. we have to get going before the others think we've died or something."

"momo, what did i do wrong? why did you choose her? i have so many questions that i need to ask.."

"it's not the time for that. we have things to do."

"then when is it the time for this? you haven't said one word to me about what happened since we broke up." her tone became louder and harsher.

"nayeon, i'm not going to deal with this today." i turned around and handed her the cash i had brought along. "go ahead and do it by yourself," i told her before walking away.

"are you going to run off to (y/n)? like you always do when i try and talk to you?" her voice got louder as i went further away.

she wasn't wrong. this was what i always did.

i always ran to her when she tried to talk about it, because i wasn't so sure if i made the right choice anymore.
