A Students Affair

Chapter 1: Leaving

Ugh.. do I have to go back to school. I thought to myself as I got up at 6:30 in the morning here in Brazil and I think its like 11:30 pm in North Carolina. I don't want to see any people at all at my school...

"What are you thinking about?" 

"Ahhh...holy mother of god, Joslyn you scared the living Jesus into me"I yelled turning around to her

"Umm..shouldn't you be happy to leave and see your twin brother Carter?" I look at her and she gives me a smirk while wiggling her eyebrows

I gave her a hug and felt her breathing become all ragged, I could just tell that she was about to cry which would have been bad for me because i would've started to cry too. "No tears okay, I forbid it, I promise you I'll visit and video chat when i can" I said in a reassuring smile. She responded with a shocked expression "HOW ARE YOU GOING TO VISIT ME?" And i just laughed "I have connections, so NO TEARS okay!" I gave her another hug before i turned to the bathroom.

I take out my toothbrush of my travel pack along with my brush. I start to brush my teeth and my newly auburn hair for the last time in this bathroom. The realization hits me...that  have been here for a whole year, I remember my first day here like it was yesterday. I learned how to be happy, i can't lie i have had a couple ups and downs before i met Joslyn (a.k.a My first friend). I also met a guy  named Jason (who often visited before he had to leave for his job). I almost started to cry but i had to stop myself because I promised myself  to not do it until i get to my cab and hug Joslyn for the last time...maybe.

"Hey Marigold don't  take your time or else you are going to miss the plane!" She yelled 

"I swear sometimes you think you are my mother"I yelled back somewhat amused

"Just come on"Joslyn said "Oh and don't forget your phone..if you see Jason again then give me the details!" After she said that i could literally feel her smirking from the other side of the door.

I open the bathroom door and gave her the look that means 'Please stop being so dirty-we aren't like that okay-' then walked to my clothes that i prepared last night. I go retrieve my travel pack to put my brush and toothbrush away, then I put my makeup away also before i put my travel pack away for good this time. I put my clothes on which was nothing but a gray tank crop top, light high-waist  pants , and finally a gray with blue, white, and red flannel around my waist. 

"Are those the pants from fashion nova and shirts fro Forever 21!" Joslyn said giving me the once over look

"Yea, I mean you are the best friend i could ask for!" I replied while going to give her a hug that only we would understand what it meant.

I am soo happy that  did not put on any makeup because we were crying even though we promised not to till i was at my cab, and the fact that we were not separated forever.

"I am going to miss you Ms. Ramieraz" I said to Joslyn who just started to laugh 

She was obsessed with this hispanic boy band and she wanted to get married to the lead singer for a long time..soo i did the honors and 'married' those two 'love birds' together.

"I am going to miss you too Marigold! Call me and facetime me everyday!!" She said as she walked me to my cab 

''I promise i will do  it everyday...if not then texting" I said hugging her one last time before getting into my cab to g on my way to the airport, which leads me to my flight home, which leads me to seeing everyone after a whole year.....Oh Boy this is gonna be one heck of a ride.
