the meaning behind

Things were back to normal to a certain degree.
We could never be alone in a room or some entity would threaten to swallow us whole.
So, I don't know if that time in the corner was a fluke.
When we were content in each other's arms.

But, Yoongi, I'm starting to get antsy
and greed is threatening overtake me.
I want more of you, the more I convince myself that I should be content with being friends for the sake of saving something that is already so strained.
Perhaps that's why I threw caution to the wind one night.

It was at a party.
It always was.
We were nothing but teenage boys trying to get by with what we had in college.
It wasn't much to begin with.
So, we partied to forget that for a moment.
It was starting to get destructive, but we kept at it.
Again, this is why the caution was foregone.

"Yoongi.
I want you."

You licked your lips, the tip of your rosy tongue swiping across your lower lip drove me to the ends of the earth.

God, your next words had the world crumbling.

"Have me."

If only for tonight, you were mine.
Writhing beneath and between cheap cotton sheets.
