Stormy Weather

Edd had picked me up and starting carrying me to their car. They walked to their car. It had room for four people. "Wait Edd where is Zene going to sit?" asked Tord. Edd was thinking to himself for a while. He put me on the floor and then I walked to Tom. I looked at his eyes. It looked like my eyes. I poked his leg and he noticed "What's up kid?" I put my arms up telling Tom to pick you up. "You want me to carry you?" I shook my head yes. He picked me up and then Edd got an idea. "Tom, Zene will sit on your lap!" Tom had a surprised look on his face "What?! Why do I have to-uh fine come on." He stepped in first and put me on his lap. I start to yawn. "Are you sleepy?" Tord said. "No. I don't sleep." Everyone looked at me "She has the cutessssst voice!!" Matt shouted. We made it to their home. It was big and it started to rain a little bit. "Looks like there is going to be a storm." Tord said.

"Yeah it sure does. Well lets all head to bed and sleep." Edd pick me up and put me in a room with a bed and closet. I put myself to bed and tried to sleep but it was hard. I stared to close my eyes and fell asleep.

~time skip to the storm~

BOOM! I jump out of bed because of the sound of lighting. I walked out to find the closest door. I knocked on it and heard footsteps.

Tom's POV

I heard a knock on my door and got up. 'I hope it's not Tord trying to prank me.' I open it and saw Zene. 'Why is she up?' "Sorry if I woke you I ju-" she stopped. When more lighting hits, Zene jumps and hugs my leg. "Come on kid. You can sleep with me tonight." I pick her up and put her in my bed. I sit on the side of her and put the blanket over us. She put her head on my chest. I didn't no why. I look at her and saw she had scars, cut, and bruises all over her. 'I glad we got you out of there Zene.' I put my arm around her so she can feel safe. She didn't have her eyes. I wonder who did that to her...

My POV

I put my head on his chest because I felt more safe. At the orphanage they never cared. I would hide under the bed and cry. I start to fall asleep and so does Tom. I really like it here. They are all nice and they love me for who I am. Yeah...this is my new home.
