Broken soul

Chapter 4

We get inside and to the kitchen, to where Ryan is still hustling around. He was washing counters and doing the small amount of dishes we had.  I turn and grab out a water bottle from the case sitting to my left, with water in hand. I head downstairs to where Dorian and Andi are, and we all pile into my room.

"So Jacob, this is a nice house." Andi says awkwardly.

"Thanks Andi. I guess its nice. i don't like to brag."

She smiles at me kindly, and reaches into her bag, pulling out a bag of her own marijuana, placing it on my bedside table. I look down at my phone to check the time.  10:37am. I place my phone down and grab my bong from beside my bed, pulling the piece out. I take my smokes out of my pocket and rip a small piece off oh one that's already started. I pack it into my piece, and place the bowl back into the bong, opening the drawer of the table and getting out my grinder. 

"So Andi, Where you from?" i ask as i pack some marijuana into the piece with the tobacco.

She opens her baggie and fills her grinder as she looks up at me.

" I was born in Nevada, but me and family moved up here for a change of lifestyle. I didn't wanna move, but i guess i've built a life here." She gives a half smile.

" Well that sounds like an interesting life. How old were you when you moved here?" Dorian says as he lays down on the other side of my bed.

" Well we moved here on my 14 birthday, and we've lived here for 3 years."

She finishes packing her toke, and takes a lighter out of her jeans sparking the flame, she lights her toke, pulling it back fast. As she lets the smoke out i can see a look in her eyes, one that i know all too well.

" So where you living in the area?" I ask, putting my piece in my bong, lighting my own toke.

" We live up on Victor street." She answers.

I laugh while blowing out the smoke, and smiling a her.

My hear my phone vibrate on my table and see it flashing blue.

" Speak of the devil." i say laughing. I pick my phone up and hold it to my ear.

"Jacobs hooker service, how can i please you?" I say jokingly over the phone putting it on speaker while placing it on the back on the table.

"Nice one Jacob. So whats up?" Lexie asks.

"Well i'm here with Dorian and our new friend Andi. We toking it up in my room."

"Oh fun Jake, You wanna come pick me. I just got up and need people to hang out with." She kinda laughs. 

"Well my dear dear friend, i would but i got people."

"Its ok Jacob, ill come for the ride." Andi chimes in quickly.

" Oh, Jake i like this one already." Lexie says laughing hard.

" Well looks like you'll be here in 10." She says after she's done her laugh fit.

"Well i'm going to take a toke first then we'll be on our way ok Lex?"I say starting to pack another toke.

"Ok Jake, well i'm staying on the phone while you guys get ready." 

I could tell Lexie was smiling. I finish packing my next toke, and get up grabbing the keys for my Mustang. Andi stands up and smiles walking out of my room, and up the stairs, followed by Dorian.

" We taking the Stang Jake!?" Dorian yells down.

"Yes!"  I yell back.

I spray my cologne quickly and grab my phone before walking out, heading up stairs. We go out and Dorian gets in the car sitting in the back. Andi takes the front, and closes her door. I light a smoke before getting in, starting the car and closing my door. I plug my phone into the AUX cord, and blast some Asking Alexandria through the car. I pull out of the driveway, and onto the street. As we cruise back into town, i feel Andi tap my arm. I turn the music down looking over at her as we come to a stop at the last set of lights before Lexies house. 

"May i have a smoke Jacob?" Andi smiles kindly.

"Go for it Andi."

I turn onto Victor street, and drive up 5 houses, stopping outside Lexies. And just looks over at me, as she figures out why i laughed earlier. I see Lexie come out of her front door, dressed in sweatpants and a suicide silence tank. As she opens the door, she sees Andi sitting in the front. Lexie just looks at her for a moment and looks at me.

"Keeper Jake." Andi gets out letting Lexie in and gets back in.

"Well Jake i think you got yourself a good one here. Where'd you pick her up.... The beach." Lexie laugh hard smacking her leg.

"Haha very funny Lex. But no, we found her at the cafe this morning, and we kinda just clicked."  I say correcting her. she nods and goes silent. I turn the music back up and begin heading back to my house.

When we all got back we went right down stairs and started toking. 

"So jacob, i never asked you. What's your story?" Andi asks coming to sit beside me on my bed, while i'm turning netflix on. I just stay silent, and take a drag off my smoke.

"He doesn't like to talk about it Andi, better not to ask." Lexie says, preparing to take her toke.

I can hear Andi sigh, she hated not knowing. But i'm not one to open up easy. I lay back in my bed, and scroll through movies till we all decide one we like.

"Definitely the conjuring Jake, love it." Andi says excited.

I sigh and smile over at her. I click on the movie and let it play. Andi just smiles widely and hugs me, sitting down beside me. I smile and grab my bong, lighting the toke that Dorian had packed for me. We ended up sitting down stairs all day, just toking and talking. by the end of the night i knew Andi as if she had known me for years. Well she wasn't so lucky, she knew little about me, and i wanted it that way for now. Dorian ended up getting really stoned and passed out on the couch in the game room at about 7:00pm. Andi, Lexie and I stayed up for a couple hours till Lexie also passed out in the game room. With just Andi and I left up, i decided it was time to maybe go eat.

"Hey why don't we order pizza?" I see Andi's face light up. 

I call the closest pizza place and order one extra large pepperoni pizza with two pops and some garlic dressing for the crust. When the pizza arrived, i quickly ran upstairs and paid the pizza guy, bringing everything back into my room down stairs.

"Yummy foooooooood!!!" Andi yells excitedly.

"Shhhhh Andi, you're going to wake them." I say laughing slightly.
