i have anxiety i can't keep calm

just another day in

It was a beautiful summer day in newyork. Cars honking, people rushing left and right for work and lunch breaks. Waking up early in the morning feels like another achievement, I don't really get out alot... I'm supposed to be starting college at university of Massachusetts which is 3hrs away from home. my parents think my old school wasn't a great influence. Yeah my school was kinda ghetto and such, kids yelling and throwing papers, cursing out the teachers which majority of them were just as bad... anyways long story short I'm Going to be the new girl all over again. I'm really going to miss seeing my friends in class they are all going away off to different colleges, I only had 3 close friends, their names are Cheyenne she's going to Hudson valley, mecca she's going to suny, and jasmine she's going to yale, I only really talked to them in school, I don't really hang out with them alot outside of school, but they have been there for me alot.

So today I'm doing a little shopping for back to school, even though I'm not that excited about going to a new school and such, I want to make a first impression when I get there atleast.

I soon realize the mall closes in 2 hours...

I rush to the bathroom, take my shower and brush my teeth, Rushing back to my room to dry off and digging through my dresser to find something to wear, I finally find a long cute gray dress and throw on some sandals to wear. I'm running past the mirror when I realize...MY HAIR IS A MESS! I quickly get a scrungy out my dresser and throw my hair up in a bun.

"MOM! I'll be back!"
Mom: " alright hun enjoy your day"

I finally am on my way to the mall, I  go to my favorite store which is Charlotte russe, I walk into the store when a gust of perfume fills my lungs, I cough "ugh the smell of multiple sprayed  perfumes gets me everytime". I usually go to the mall near closing time because there isnt as much people.

I look at the time to make sure I have enough time to find what to wear, it's 7:50 and mall closes at 9:00 I guess that's enough time to search around and such. Gleaming in the corner of the store i see this beautiful blue shirt with a heart made of sequence,  it was beautiful and I just had to get it so i rush over and grab it. 20 mins later I've gotten 9 shirts so far, 6 pairs of pants, and 7 dresses, before I left I figured I should try the blue shirt on to see how it looks. I ask one of the workers to give me a dressing room to get changed.. seconds later I look in the mirror and had the most biggest smile on my face,  the shirt absolutely beautiful on me i loved it and I couldn't wait to wear it to school. I take it off, put on my dress and went up to the cashier to purchase my items, it all came up to $138.57 "I guess that's not that bad" I say to myself, the cashier bags my clothes and hands them to me with my reciept. On my way home, thinking about how cute I'm gonna look on the first day of school.
