I always had a feeling that he liked me. Lunch just confirmed it. The next class period, his friend met me in the hallway while I was in my way to my next class. She came up to me and said, "William wants to date you." I didn't know if that was true because rumors fly. I went with her into William's next class. William was right there in his seat. His friend kept talking and talking about him and teased him too. I thought it was all too cute so I laughed and told him that I'd think on it. I turned and went to my next class. I got onto my computer and checked my emails. I got one from William. It said "What do you say?" I wasn't sure what to say. I didn't know if I wanted to say yes or no. I really liked him but was afraid to be in another relationship. My last one was abusive. I thought for a second. Then I typed to him. I sent, "I will tell you in Spanish." That would give me time to think about it. In the meantime we kept typing each other. Until I finally wanted to tell him my answer. I couldn't wait until Spanish. Out of nowhere in our conversation I sent, "It's a yes." He didn't respond for a minute. I thought he exploded for a second. Then he typed back with, "Ok. That's awesome! And trust me, I'm not like the other guys you were with." I didn't know what he meant by the last sentence but at the same time I did. I told him about my previous experiences and how I have trust issues. All in all though, me and him were more than best friends. We were partners now. I was overjoyed.
