Starting the car, wiping the tears from my face, I could finally be free, I could escape my past and be who I wanted to be. With my baby.
I felt like I could finally smile when I drove past the worn Rosewood sign covered in graffiti from the new teens of the town.
The only place that I knew would feel like home is in Ezra's arms.
Pulling up to the apartment block I let out a breath I didn't even realise I was holding, Clutching the barrier as I went feeling as if I let go I would fall.
One knock, two knocks, three knocks
I turned my back to the door knowing that coming here was a stupid idea and that Ezra wouldn't want me back.
Suddenly, the door opened.
"Ezra."
"Aria, you're back?"
His eyes averted from mine down to my stomach and I saw a look of sadness emerge front and center on his face.
I looked at him smiling weakly "Can we talk?"
He rubbed his eyes, "Yeh, come in!"
He ushered me to the couch "You know we never stopped looking for you." When he said this his eyes once again averted to my stomach.
I looked into his ocean blue pools, "Ezra, the baby is yours, I was going to tell you the day, You know?"
"Seriously."
He had a crazy grin on his face and for a moment I forget everything. looking back up I saw him staring at my lips, I bought my lips to his, softly at first before it turned more desperate.
Eventually, I pulled away needing him but also needing air
I looked up at him and a wave of self consciousness came over me
"I'm sorry I shouldn't have done that!"
"Ar, I don't ever want to hear you apologise again, I love you, You're my b26."
"I love you too."
