My Life in the hunger games

Effie's P.O.V

"Hello district 12.""As you know the hunger games are going to be a little different this year." Effie explained

Instead of one boy and girl going into the games, their will be two teams of 3 from each district.

Everybody gasped as they heard the new information.

Random citizens P.O.V. -----------------------------

"But that means that you have a bigger chance of being picked."

"Yes that is right!" Effie said "peacekeepers take care of him!"

Everybody was watching in shock as the man was being grabbed and thrown on the ground. All of the people assured that he was dead after the gun shots echoed.

Effie's P.O.V. *************

"Would anybody else like to share their thoughts, anybody, ok good!"

"Now let's see who will be in this years hunger games."

"As you all know,Effie said, lady's go first."

"She wasn't very picky, Effie went right over and picked 3 from the girls and then 3 from the boys."

Effie walked over to the microphone and said"

Effie's P.O.V.

The 3 girls are Alexis Janssen, Angelina Devito, and Linsey Brown and the 3 boys are Mason Phillips, Carson Murphy,and Grant Conckrite." Effie told us.

We all were standing there in complete shock as we were walking up to the stage.

Lexi's P.O.V.

"Oh that's just sh*t" I said to myself. "why couldn't someone just volunteer as tribute for me?" "I don't want to die young I yelled at Effie.

"You know I can have you killed right now if you would like." Effie snapped right back."

I decided to shut up at that moment and I didn't talk until I said goodbye to my family.

Angels P.O.V.

"NOOOO YOU CANT TAKE ME ALIVE!!!" she yelled at the peacekeepers who where dragging here up onto the stage.

"What is up with these girls trying to run away from me." Said Effie as she was watching Linsey trying to escape by going through people's legs. "don't forget to get that other one also pointing at Lindsey.

"I DONT WANT TO GO!!!" angel yelled. "NEVER YOU WILL NEVER CATCH ME!!!" she said while trying to escape.

Effie told the peacekeepers to taze her to keep her from running away.

Lindsey's P.O.V.

"I am escaping, I am escaping!!" well that what I thought. "Effie is one smart chick." I can't believe that's she can see me with 10 pounds of makeup on her eyes and eyelashes."

"I would think that she wouldn't be able to lift up her eyes with all that weight on her eyes."

"I didn't even think of trying to struggle because I dint want to be tazed like Angel."
