Hello everyone.😊 This is my new book. Always Broken was a great success of mine so I thought the best way to celebrate that was to award you guys with another good book and this time it's more action than romance. So get your seatbelts on and enjoy this heck of a ride. Even though I tried to tag most people who have either read Always Broken or added it to their reading list, I missed a lot of people so comment if you want to be tagged next chapter. It means a lot to me to wake up and see people adding my book to their reading list.

Special shout out to -lyscece for making the brilliant cover! Go to her page, follow her and give her some love.

Also remember if you do decide to read this book that there is a prologue and chapter one posted and this book will be updated every week. Alright, to the book. 😊

Kia Brown

Kia ran as far away from her family as she could, going away from the voice of her mother. There was nothing her father could say to her that would make up for the betrayal that she felt at this moment. How could they lie to her? Why hadn't they told her the truth?

As she ran up into the attic of her home, there was a million things running through her head. How long had this been going on? How long had her father been involved with a mafia and decided not to tell her? More importantly, how long had her family been in danger? Kia was so scared and she knew deep down inside something bad was about to happen and she would have no control over it.

She slid down on the wall and slumped to the ground- hopeless and defeated. She put her head in her hands and her shoulders started to shake as she cried into her palms. If only she had never went into her father's office. She wished she was just as naive as everyone else in the family. It was bad enough that her father had been beating on her mother lately but now she figured out this. He was involved in a mafia? Just when she had almost convinced her mother to leave her father she heard this nonsense.

In the midst of her crying, Kia didn't notice a small, faint movement towards the back of the attic. Too busy sobbing, she started to block out every noise or person from her world as she placed her hands on her ears.

However, more movement came from the back of the attic and eventually Kia noticed the noise and she became startled.

"Who's there? Is that you Dad? Go away!" She screamed, thinking the noise was her father trying to enter the attic. But when she snapped her head towards the noise, her eyes caught sight of something else or rather someone else.

It was a man. A bloody man. The man tried his best to hide but once he realized he had been caught sneaking into someone else's attic, he gave up his act and focused on his wound that was bleeding very badly through his shirt.

Kia did not know who the man was but automatically, she became alarmed. "I don't know who you are but please, let me help you. You are bleeding badly. Here, I'll go get a first aid kit and-"

"Don't come any closer," the man snapped at Kia, interrupting what she was saying.

"I just wanna help you," she interjected, begging him.

"Stay back, princess, I'm dangerous. At least that's what everyone else says," he replied and with that he pulled his hood over his head, stumbling to the other side of Kia's attic.

Description of His Undoing:

Dylan Robinson is not someone to play with. With a bad past trailing behind him, Robinson is on the run, homeless and destitute with police running after him. After a mafia attack on his family, everyone is left dead except for him and he is falsely accused of murdering his own family. Sadly, Dylan is still on the run even after five long years.

Kia Brown has always known that her father was rich but she never thought about why- he was just a successful business man right? But what happens when she figures out that's not the case- that her own father is involved with the mafia and that she is in danger? And what happens when a bleeding Dylan comes stumbling into her attic looking for a hiding place from the police? Will she help him and will he be able to protect her from the dangers of the mafia?
