Lizzie and I walk to her house, she cried the entire way. When we get there her mom greets us at the door with tears in her eyes. "Oh girls, I'm so sorry about the announcement. I wish there was something I could do." Her mom says.
I look at Lizzie and say, "Actually, if you could help us train for the next 12 days so we have a chance of living if we get reaped." We walk inside waiting for her answer. "There may be something I can do." She says and run out.
...
A few hours later Lizzie and I are hanging out in her room waiting for her mom to get back. "Where do you think you mom went?" I ask. "I have no idea . . ." She says.
We wait a few more hours until it's dark and that's when her mom finally reappears. "Girls!" She calls from downstairs. We run down and watch her. "I have an old friend from district two and he's willing to let you use their old training center if you want." She says. "How can we get there?" I ask her, district two is pretty far away from the Capitol. It's not like we can just walk there.
"You take a train, it's only a couple hours away from here." She says. "All you have to do is wake up at 6am and you're there around 8-9am." Mrs. Ravensdale says.
Lizzie, Mrs. Ravensdale and I eat dinner together and then Lizzie and I go to bed early. The last thing I remember before falling asleep is how excited I am about starting training tomorrow morning. I know either one of us will have a chance of surviving.
