Chapter 2

Drake's POV

I wake up to the bright orange sun. I haven't slept in days! That is because I'm an Alpha to the Black Moon Pack. We are the strongest, deadliest, ruthless pack in the United States.

My name is Drake and I am 18 years old, soon to be nineteen at the end of the school year. I am the youngest Alpha there is. I'm also the youngest Alpha that has ever existed in the Black Moon Pack.

Like most teenagers, they wake up to go to school. Not me, I get up to protect my pack. I finished school early because I knew there was a chance I would become an Alpha at a young age.

To be honest I never thought I would be Alpha this young or even be Alpha at all. But what do you know, I am.

I look at the time and its 7:00 in the morning, I guess I should get up. I walk into my bathroom when I hear someone yelling my name!

"Alpha, Alpha," Embry says

Teegan is the Beta of the Black Moon Pack

"What," I shout

Embry is also a young Beta. He is 20 years old.

"Alpha Cole of the Red Blood Pack is here to speak to you," Embry explains

"Tell him to meet me in my office"

The Red Blood Pack is considered the 2nd strongest pack in America. We are trying to build an alliance with each other. I am also trying to gather other allies to protect my pack.

Autumn's POV

I wake up to another day. I always wake up at the same time, 7:00 in the morning.

I roll out of bed and get ready for school. I meet up with Luke and Kayla and we walk to school together.

After a long day of school, I walk home with my best friends and only to come home to my mother calling my name.

"Hey Autumn I need you to run an errand for me," she calls out to me

I walk towards her while Kayla and Luke are behind me.

"Sure mom, what do you need?," I ask her while Kayla and Luke are listening

"I need you to go to the store and get some party stuff"

"We are having a homecoming party in a few weeks," my mother tells me

I look at her in shock and so do my best friends!

My mother never lets me go into town. She thinks it's not safe for me to go to town. If you ask me I think it would be an adventure to anywhere outside of my pack.

I think my mother still thinks I am five or something. I don't know why she is so over protective its not like I'm going to the city.

"yes, okay mother"

"Make sure Kayla and Luke are with you at all times," my mother says

"Oh and Autumn, Be careful," my mother says worryingly

I nod my head and I run to the truck!

I roughly jab the keys into the ignition

As I lift my head up I see Alpha Cole

Kayla notices who I am staring at

"It will be okay Autumn, hes not worth your tears," Kayla tells me
