"We're in this together." I grab his hands and look him in the eyes.
"We will keep fighting until we are done." I add. Tears build up in my eyes.
"BUT MAYBE I DON'T WANT TO LIVE LIKE THIS ANYMORE." He spits out, on the urge of crying.
i wake up from my loud, beeping alarm. i check the time.
7:30 pm. i have to wake up mitchell.
i get out of bed and walk out of my room. across from my room is mitchell's room. just when i was about to bang on the door, i realised i can possibly break his door down because my strength has been acting up lately. it's weird. i open the door. "mitch, wake up. it's the first day of school." he groans.
"ugh, okay. i'll be out in a bit. just hold o-" i cut him off. "no, get the fuck out of bed and get ready. jacob's giving us a ride." i say as i turn around and walk out of his room, smiling. he sighs. i grab an outfit from my drawer.

i already took a shower last night so i'm not gunna take a shower this morning. i put my hair in a fishtail braid and then head to the washroom to do my makeup. i finish with my makeup and head to the kitchen to grab a quick snack. i open a cabinet we have full of snacks. i grab a granola bar and a bottle of water from the fridge.
i have all my school stuff and so does mitchell. he comes out wearing white knee-high shorts and a white tee shirt. i hear a knock on the door. mitchell grabs his bag and we open the door. it's obviously jacob and jessica. we walk out the door, close and lock the door and make our way down to the parking lot. we start talking about school on our way. we make it to the parking lot and we walk towards jacob's car. we get in the car and drive off to school. jacob turns on the radio.
ugh jacob's so hot, what the fuck. i bet he'd never accept me if i told him what i was. he would hate the living shit out of me .
"i can't wait to see everyone at school again!" i exclaim. "same" mitchell agrees."yeah, i know haha" jacob chuckles. jess grins. we arrive at school. i read the sign.
Glendale High School.
jacob parks the car and we get out of the car. i check the time. it's 8:03am. we see a bunch of people in front of the doors, just all scattered around the area, but not too far. i spot shantelle. i run towards her. "SHANTELLE!! AHHHH" i scream as i run towards her and hug her. she hugs me back. she smiles a cute, teeth-showing smile. "oh my gosh cinderella i missed you so much." "i missed you too." we pull away from the hug and chuckle.
"i hope we get some classes together, girly." i smile. "i hope so too, cindy" she smiles back. i spot mia, loren and luna. "LUNA! LOREN! MIA!"they come towards us. i give mia a nice big hug. "oh my gosh guys, it's been like so long." we talk about our summer break until the bell rang. the principal, Mrs. Stewarts, and the vice-principal, Mrs. Deverson came out to give instructions. jacob, mitchell, jessica came towards us. "welcome back to glendale high, everyone!" i will be taking you guys inside to the front foyer to give out class schedules!" she opens the doors and we all go inside.
