Prologue:
February 29, the only day that occurs once every four years. Some people say it’s magic, others believe it’s just a day to make things complicated. For the Aika triplets however, it is so much more. Our story begins on a rather chilly day in February, the 28th. Melanie Aika was scheduled for a C-Section with her triplets! Crazy right? Everything was going as planned until a woman ran into the hospital holding an infant covered in blood from his diaper down.
As it turned out, the doctor who had circumcised the tyke had accidentally cut more than he was supposed to… The doctor scheduled to perform the C-Section was called in so they could operate on the child. Knowing what happened, Melanie didn’t mind waiting. She just hoped the boy was okay.
The nurses informed Melanie that her room was ready if she wanted to spend the night at the hospital considering it was late. She agreed and went to the room she was given, 229. The next day, it was finally time for her C-Section. Melanie had just woken up when the doctor came in with all of the equipment needed. Not long later, three little miracles were in her arms, Harmony Grace, Melody Faith, and Lyric Zachariah.
