As Lola and Cole sat with there giant mugs filled to the top with coffee they shared small talk. Lola's thoughts were going a mile a minute and Cole for sure took notice.
"everything okay Lola?"
She looked at him as he broke her thoughts, "I am fine, just thinking."
"about?"
"us...." Lola spoke in a whisper.
Cole grabbed her hand from across the table, smiling at her.
"What about us?"
"Our future."
Cole's smiled dropped a bit. Which made Lola's heart drop a bit. Did he not see a future with her?
"What about our future?"
"I don't know, it's just with all this craziness with the baby has got me thinking..."
"about babies?"
Lola nodded almost to scared to move her head.
"Lola love I want to create beautiful babies with you, I love you and I see myself growing old with you."
Lola's eyes filled up with tears as he spoke.
"but right now is not the time. maybe in a couple of months things will change," Cole gave the love of his life a reassuring smile.
